Next best after TrueType?

I just got a few TTLs in. Not bad, but aside from the neck they are the Sideshow Promethus exactly. The exact same shape, the exact same articulation (except the neck), everything is just like a Pro. I can't imagine buying this to replace a Pro unless you really want the one piece neck.

I don't know what other people want them for, but I was thinking of replacing a few Sideshow Bucks, actually. If Sideshow were to offer the Pro body for customizing / upgrading purposes at a reasonable price then I'd definitely consider those as an alternative, too.

At the moment, the TTLs are a relatively inexpensive alternative and the DML / SS Buck type neck post is convenient for upgrading older figures with those type of necks.

Yes, I was intending to move some old SW from bucks. But the TTL 3.0 isn't compatible with Buck heads. I should have gotten the 2.0.
