For real. Especially after seeing some great Pf's going up for sale between $200-250 shipped in the commerce section. Paying $2000 for something that is almost the same size. Just can't pull the trigger...

It is not even close to the same size,,, I have had alot of pf 's in my collection in my day. Besides the obvious fact of silicon and punched hair as opposed to resin sculpted and painted, it is a BIG difference.. to each his own I guess..

I have never seen a cinemaquette in real life and they all look the same size in my browser:lol

I would never argue against the quality of cinemaquettes or belittle their fan-base, but as mainly a PF owner, I find difficult to make the switch considering the nearly $1500-1800 price difference. Make sense?

Would the face/hands melt or something ? Isn't that rubber ? Could crack as well... Who knows !!!

I've had the T-800 for 3 years - still looks fantastic. It's silicone - it won't melt any more than a gasket in your Yugo.

I hear you there my friend,, I have had Cm's for about 4 years now and I never knew what went into them until I started sculpting my own.. The silicon is alomst $250 for a small tub and that is wholesale. nevermind the hair punching,, the labor involved is ridiculous. One by the hairs must go in.. It is the most grueling thing I have ever done. the costuming alone is beautiful.

Yea, I am sure we are comparing apples to oranges. One day when I can understand and properly appreciate the level of workmanship that goes into them, then I will be ready:D

Weren't we supposed to get pics and pre-order this week?

Damn it, I have $2000 burning a hole in my pocket...

Why do you have a hole in your pocket? I bet that hole was there before the $2000. That's what bothers me.

Monday or tuesday is the Big day for this to be officially anounced on CM Site!!

Can't wait!!!

Nothing yet :(

Hmm, Predator and Alien are still in stock - maybe I should get one of those instead.
