I still have hope or Kenobi, mainly because McGregor is a great actor and a worthy lead for a series. Morrison simply isn't and the moment whoever decided to remove his helmet frequently, the facade completely fell apart...and they for some reason decided to make him the comedy relief....

BoBF shows us that the actors are helpless in the face of incompetent leadership. Good actors, bad actors.... all have to do as they are told. And this is the reason I have zero expectations for Kenobi, because Disney can take a sure thing and **** it up beyond recognition, 100% of the time.

I get the distinct impression that they did not want to make BoBF. You know what, then dont! Dont make it and then purposefully screw it up as a **** you to the fans. Surely that isnt what actually happened.... or is it

All the things that should be Boba's, they lavished on Mando. I love Mando, dont get me wrong but he is a newbie and can take a back seat for once and wait for his own show. But no!

BoBF has done one thing for sure: its removed any shred of trust I had in Favreau and Filoni. MISSION. ACCOMPLISHED.

I have no idea why people are mad. Yeah, it’s crappy that they’re screwing over Boba but the last three episodes of the show have been stellar. Star Wars is the Mandalorian now, no idea why people are surprised he’s taking over this too.

I dunno, when you have a show named after a character yet that character essentially doesn't appear in 30% of it AND people are enjoying the episodes that don't include him way more then you have a problem.

I’m not denying that they’ve done Boba dirty. He’s been in exactly one scene in the last two episodes. I guess I just don’t care that much because Boba was always kind of overrated to me. The fans made him out to be cooler than he actually ever was because of his armor. I always found Jango cooler. At least he didn’t die like an idiot.

They need to treat Boba better but I’m enjoying the show. Mando is the badass Mando that Boba should have been. Whatever, I’m not losing sleep over it. I enjoy the story for what it’s worth.

This has been addressed ad nauseum in other threads, but they made a fool out of the most feared and competent bounty hunter ever, in his own show. One of the most beloved and easily recognized popular culture figures ever. Trashed, and for no good reason.

Then they kicked him out of said show and gave the last half of it to the new guy and his adoptee.

Perhaps Han Solo can show up in "Mandalorian" and kick Mando out of his own show, too. Let's make this a thing we do!

Luke??? Leia?? I was livid. I’ve been very open about how much I hated the sequels. I’ve talked about it at length on these boards.

I’m just not trying to hate everything Disney puts out as a result. I want to enjoy Star Wars. I just see benevolent Boba as worth hating. He’s older now and has been on the brink of death. That changes people. It makes sense, to me, that he’s toned down a bit.

It’s dirty to the character but not worth hating. Not to me.

It’s not the boba I wanted - which is strange because he is so close in both mando and the flashbacks it’s just the current day that’s a bit lacking

When the show was entirely about Boba, everyone was up in arms that it sucked/was boring/didn't like it/whatever. Now the show puts out two episodes without him but are the furthest thing from boring and everyone is up in arms that they want Boba back.

I swear, it's like some of you just don't want to like Star Wars anymore.
