OT releases were already sparingly. Now we are getting BoBF, Bad Batch S2, Andor and possibly the start of Mando S3. We might not even get an OT figure this year and all will be from the previously named series'. Plus, Marvel is loaded and DC is making a resurgence.
The way I see it, Kenobi's got a good chance of giving us some PT content. Beyond that, I wouldn't expect much. Their schedules are too packed for revisits. I myself passed on General Skywalker since General Kenobi never went up for PO. I imagine the show will have some form of flashback with Ewan & Hayden, but whether that means ROTS reissues, or Live-Action CW figures, I don't know. Still, we're bound to get something. We're going to get a Vader too, question is how he'll differ from the already released ones. I've not bought any thus far, as I was waiting for a ROTJ version to get the unmasked head. Now I don't know, if this Vader comes with a burned Hayden head, I might go for that version as I prefer the scarred and burnt look to the grey and screwed up one. We might get a Bacta Anakin too, who knows. Beyond that, dunno. They could use the opportunity to release a PT Palpatine, but I doubt it. We're going to get some flashbacks, but I imagine most of the action will be on [current day] Tatooine.
All I know is I am going to be buying a lot of figures this year…from a company called Exo-6.

Exo 6 will get the majority of my collecting money this year because of TNG.

Have you seen the price of the ROTS Obi-Wan? A CW Kenobi is the only chance we have of getting one at retail.
I'm spoiled by insane looking custom ROTS Obi-Wan sculpts.
And I prefer his solo series look.

Depending on how much Howard Chan likes Obi Wan, the Obi Wan figure from his own series has a chance of being made into the DX line. I mean it will be up to how complicated his costume is I guess. The teaser art looks fairly complicated.

Well as of now we only have 1 PT Obi-Wan on the market, whose numbers continue to grow in the secondary market, we got a General Skywalker so it makes sense that people want to have General Kenobi to go with him and Obi-Wan looks sick in that armor. The armored looks for Skywalker and Kenobi also go better with the Phase 1 clones.
Why wouldn't we want him?

The only reason I haven't ordered Anakin is because Kenobi hasn't been put up yet. I believe HT will release something due to the upcoming series and I'm really hoping one is his General look.
It's all about the headsculpt for me. It's the dealbreaker for me to get a figure. The CW Obi-Wan lookd great from the neck down, HT could easily do a new sculpt and they definitely won't.
