I think this is a different tihng altogether, kidding aside. The Picture Book Of Beta Fatt existed just to kill time until MandoS3 and to make ****a "cleaner" for mass consumption. Kenobi doesn't suffer from these problems, and none of the TBOBF people are involved like Rodriguez, so I'm still optimistic.

Just don't expect too much for Kenobi and you should be fine.

In Rebels, Maul killed all those Inquisitors without too much trouble, given it was a group battle. Maul is then 3-hit killed by Obiwan. By logic, the Inquisitors should not be much of a problem to Obiwan but they probably will. I expect Obiwan to be nerfed.

How about prime pre-Rotj Boba? How do you not do any of that? Or ESB bounty hunters?

Honestly, even with Mando, the SW world building is atrocious. They lack SW understanding and cannot pull the trigger. SW can only be told from the outskirts of civilization for some reason.

PT already failed me so why would a drifter Kenobi show have any redeeming qualities? It will cover what we can already speculate it being - an attempt to bring fluff to an irrelevant point in SW.

...and why, we do not know. We do have lots of deserts on earth for handy filming, but also plenty of urban landscapes and ocean landscapes etc. remember how we all felt at the mere sight of Kamino in BoBF! Our hair practically stood on end as a literal tidal wave rolled across the base of Tipoca City. It was beautiful and terrifying.

Well canon was a thing. It shouldn't be now with the corporations exploiting characters and just wanting them out there for the buck. Plus, disingenuous story telling is pretty pathetic and it has become a habit with Star Wars and frankly Star Trek. Problem is, people keep consuming cause there is a possibility it is good. Apparently, as long as SW rolls in the dough they will keep shoveling it.

I'm really excited to get the Part 2 flying Delorean myself but it's absolutely absurd how random Hot Toys is when you think about what they just did. They previewed that version like 8 years ago and did nothing with it even after releasing the part 2 figures. Then just this fall out of nowhere they finally make the part 3 figures that BTTF fans really wanted and they preview the part 3 car. They do nothing with the car for months, then randomly "go back in time" and release the part 2 car. Literally WTF?

All that being said today is a happy day, at least for me it is. Howard how about you lose your damn mind again next week and make the Death Star Trooper?
