I'd assume there were just too many pegwarming Qi'ras at various scales for HT to think about a 1/6 version. I still see a lot of that Hasbro 12" version on pegs from time to time.

Definitely. But all the lower end Qira figures looked pretty lousy. HT seems like the only company that could really do her justice, short of a high end statue. All that being said I don't know if a HT figure of her would be a hot seller, but I enjoyed her character in the movie, and she had some beautiful costumes with a look that fit into the Star Wars universe.

Bummer that we won't see a TROS Palpatine from HT, that would have been so cool. Same with TROS Lando or flashback Luke and Leia.

I still want a TROS Palps. I really did think HT were going to do him with that cool crane support rig behind him that could have been partly an accessory, partly a backdrop.

I'm sure there's a 3D sculpt out there that could be printed. Like so many things these days, I just end up having to do it as a custom figure.:gah:

translated parts from an interview with howard, found on facebook, may give some insight.

Hates the sequels and has no interest to go back to them, so doubt we will get anymore figures. Oh no.

i love howard.

Hahahahahaha st is done!!!!! No more figures! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

While there's no arguing that ST figures did not sell well, Howard didn't help things with his piss poor sales strategy. When TFA was doing boffo box office and garnering a lot of good will, rather than striking while the iron was hot he ignored a lot of characters that would have generated quite a bit of interest (Poe, Leia, Hux, Maz Kanata, final scene Luke). But of course he released 10 different (i.e., cookie cutter) First Order Trooper variants. :slap And the Han & Chewie figures HT did release were far from its best work. Then he finally gets around to Luke & Leia for TLJ, the movie where many hated the direction taken with their characters so of course those fans didn't want 1/6 scale reminders staring back at them from their detolfs. And he also released the Praetorian Guards, but not the big bad (Snoke) that they were guarding!:cuckoo:

This should be engraved somewhere, and pointed to any time ST fans claim that the figures sold well:

Howard Chan: I think lots of fans are disappointed with the sequels. Even me. I don't have any desire to revisit them anytime soon. The sales were awful.

Where are the bunch morons that claimed "ST haters are minority" in here =]], I should have created a whole new thread dedicated to this matter ahahaha :rotfl.

BTW still getting that new Kylo Ren from TROS or whatever the *** from that garbage clown trilogy.

The old man Han figure is actually really nicely done I think. You don't like the sculpt?

Yeah he had metallic gold hair but the old Han sculpt overall was pretty nice.

Yeah the hair is where they failed on Han, but otherwise it looks OK. Apparently there was a gray paint shortage that year. :lol. But that Chewie is simply awful.

Well at least they kept the metallic theme going with HT farmboy Luke's coppertop hair.

All lies and twisting on words from old fanboy trolls to support their own agendas. It is very sad really.

A source already confirmed on these boards that HT will make just as many figures from TROS as they do for Mandalorian. Malgus hasn't been wrong yet with his other announcements and I don't think he will be on this one either.

You are seriously, no doubt delusional. What? Actually what? :slap :slap :slap

Enjoy that subpar Rey figure, it's the last you will ever get

We will see.

Malgus has a better grasp on this industry and Star Wars fandom than most of us could combined could get in a lifetime. So if I was you I wouldn't be making such bold predictions just yet.

His on point analysis of the current price of ST figures on the second hand market alone proves Howard is wrong about them being a commercial failure!

Are you calling Howard a troll because he doesn't like the ST, or Jesse Lo a liar for intentionally mis-translating Howard's Milk magazine interview?

And are you seriously claiming that Malgus - the biggest troll I've seen on this forum - knows Hot Toys better than Howard himself?

No what I am saying is that the article is clearly a fake made by internet trolls to support their own misguided views. Howard would never make such comments that are so deeply offensive to us real Star Wars fans. I don't know Jesse but I would say his is an innocent victim in this cruel prank that could put the Hot Toys - Disney relationship in real danger. What if Disney decided to cancel the license deal over it????

It could mean no Bespin Han or C-3PO for the old timers or worse no Admiral Holdo or Maz for us better progressive fans.

So no Malgus doesn't know HT better than Howard because as I said it is clear that this whole article is a fake in the first place.

And as for him having 5 accounts that is silly and simply untrue - he told me he only had 4 now.

Is this guy trolling or just a complete *****? Based on past posts I think *****.
