All the same they are really playing it safe with a Morgul Lord aren't they? Well safe ish!!

True, the ML is a pretty safe choice, but after looking at this for awhile now I'm starting to think this one may differ quite a bit from other PF's in composition. It looks to me like the ML is in a sitting position on the FB with the reins in his right hand, so I am thinking that perhaps the base will be comprised of the saddle, and an undetermined part of the FB itself. :google

Yes think you are right on that but I wonder how much of the FB we'll get if any of it. And with that its a HUGE PF with full on FB!!! :horror

A lot of happy people if it was!

More unhappy than happy when they saw what that would cost them. Most people just couldn't afford it.

If we only get a portion of the FB, i really hope they include the twig and berries. Fellbeast balls are much needed in any statue:naughty

the thing with the weird head, I'm not sure if someone mentioned this, but it looks like he is looking down so like he would be mounted on something flying around in the air:cool:

It could be where he's going to fight with Eowyn. He wouldn't need to be on the FB then.

I think it is more a matter of the armature still being in production, I don't believe that will be anything like the final pose.

I participated in the Chat today, with Chris Brock, Tom Gilliland and the head honcho Greg Anzalone. Only me and one other person asked about anything to do with LOTR (all the other questions were about Predator and a handfull of other lines). Nazgul asked Tom what the next PF would be and Tom's response was "probably the Morgul Lord".

I was in the chat for awhile and wanted to ask questions but the chat was just too busy and I noticed that most of the time they just picked and choosed what questions to answer and most weren't. I just didn't bother.

All of the guys were completely inundated with questions. There would've been no way to answer everybody. I did notice though that Tom Gilliland and Greg Anzalone made the most effort to - Chris Brock was answering all the questions from TWO people and occasionally from one other person. He didn't respond to even one of mine while the others did.

That was me. I asked 4 questions of Tom and Greg and got 3 answers. I'd love to know where all the other LOTR supporters were.......:monkey3

What did you ask BTW?

The question I asked Tom G. was something like, "We were shown several 'good guys' for the maquette line; confirm if there will be plenty of 'baddies' as well". His response was, of course, that there would be plenty of them. At the moment my mind had gone blank and it was all I could think of!

I also asked one of the guys if we could expect to see some of the "secondary" characters in either maquette or PF (Easterling, High Elven Warrior) but I never got an answer.:banghead

Those guys were completely swamped with questions. It's a wonder they were able to answer many at all.

True enough, though that didn't stop Marvel, SW, Pred. and Alien collectors from asking every question imaginable. It just seemed to me that was the perfect opportunity to show SS how much we care about the LOTR licence, and if they don't think we care that much then I don't blame them, 'cause there sure didn't seem to be many of us showing any interest whatsoever.

I would have loved to participate in the Fantacular chat to represent some LOTR love, but work blocked the Java chat. It sucked not being able to take part, as I would have loved to be able to ask about all sorts of PF possibilities.

Yes, it's unfortunate when work gets in the way of our hobby......:lol

At least I can get through to this site when things are slow!:banana

I was looking forward to asking about some of the odd PF suggestions that have been floating around though. I am on the fence about buying a Cave Troll LSB, but I would rather save the money for a PF if that is in the works!

There is no guarantee a CT PF is in the works, or will be for a very long time. The one thing I can guarantee is the CT LSB is outstanding....one of the best LOTR busts ever! :D
