Well, I wouldn't call RT stupid. The guy has a few oscars for his work on LOTR and some of his decision making must have been pretty good. So I think calling the man stupid a bit over the top.

Also a Fellowship Pippin probably wouldn't have sold any better than the one that was made. The Hobbit statues where some of the weakest selling items in the line and why the first three have what is to be believed small ES. So Pippin wouldn't have been any different most likely.

As regards releasing a female PF; SS is a business - in my opinion (again, I could be wrong), a female PF won't sell as well as any on the other ones I listed, therefore, in business terms, releasing a female PF before releasing those others is stupid.

Like I said, its all a matter of opinion, but in any type of business, trying to sell something that won't sell as well as something else is stupid - isn't it?? (That is of course assuming I am correct in my assertion that a female PF won't sell as well as, say an Aragorn, Ringwraith or Gandalf the Grey etc. The fact that none of the female SSW statues sold well does not bode well for a female PF)

It won't sell as well as those characters but I don't know if I'd classify it as stupid. Now, not playing Albert Pujols in the bottom of the 9th in the All-Star game was stupid.

If no one else wants one of the women, then make it Galadriel with Giant Mirror/environment base for a high price tag. Again no takers? Lower the ES to 300 and watch it sell out!

If they can make a Biker Scout or Jabba Throne for STAR WARS, they can finally give us the Mirror and proper!

I can think of AT LEAST 10 characters that I'd like to see done before they even consider one of the females. Ringwraith, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Gandalf the Grey, Theoden, Eomer, Moria Orc (or any other orc for that matter), Gondorian Guard, Armoured Elf, King of the Dead, Mouth of Sauron - the list goes on and somewhere down at the bottom I might consider a female.... maybe
