I'd take Ackbar in an instant if it were made. Nien isn't as cool but I'd still buy him more than likely too. Cantina creatures that people want such as Walrusman I'd probably buy too if it were priced reasonably. Still wish Sideshow would revisit older creatures too such as Greedo and Hammerhead.

Walrusman,Hoth Rebel Soldier and Ackbar are what SSC should be doing. New Greedo would also be obvious. HT will never do him.

But man...with Civil War and Bats and Superman coming soon I really hope the TFA line isn't on hiatus now.

If Hot Toys ever did an OT Threepio it would be a must-have for me. It's a shame SSC's wasn't up to snuff, but I'm really looking forward to the HT BB-8. I trust they can pull it off. With all the other franchises HT is pumping out, it's unlikely we'll get a HT R2/C3P0 any time soon. I'm sure it will be months before all the human TFA figures are up for pre-order. We're going to have to endure a lot of Batmen and Iron Men releases before that

I really thought we'd see more reveals from The Force Awakens by now. They messed around with doing so many Troopers which I get are easy but you would think they'd want to reveal the rest of the main characters before the upcoming DC and Marvel stuff.

Now that I've preordered the jawas I want an uncle Owen and aunt beru. The exclusives could come with crispy skeletons. If they make walrus man then they'll need his partner too (can't remember his name).
definitely need Tarkin. Rebel fighters from the blockade runner?

Dr. Evazan is Walrus Man's partner. They'd both be sort of cool to get. I don't think there was ever even figures made of Owen and Beru by Kenner so I doubt Sideshow would do them.

I hope they don't skip Poe, I think he was my favorite of the new characters in TFA. TFA Han would be great, and while they're making almost all the OT figures I want, I'm waiting for their versions of C-3PO and R2-D2. Also, I hope they don't skip the prequels entirely, I'd love figures of Darth Maul, Ewan's Obi-Wan, AOTC white-outfit Padme, Qui-Gon and Jango Fett (don't really want the Sideshow versions of some of these)...seems unlikely HT will bother now though lol.

I can't see why they'd skip Poe. He's not a main character exactly but he's present enough that I think Hot Toys will do him. They could easily do two versions of him (pilot and regular gear).

Maybe they said, "wow, people love this movie so much we can release these guys later in the year or even next year, for now we better get all those BvS figures previewed before everyone realizes the movie sucks."

I'd buy two versions of Poe if they made them haha, it'd be great if he came with two clothing sets like with Barney Ross. And that's a good guess about BvS. It sure does feel like it's taken over at the moment, even announcing that crazy 1:1 scale figure... But it makes sense for more TFA figures to come in the future, so I'll try to be patient.

Yeah they can spread them out and they'll sell either way but the bad thing is that they need to stay somewhat current with all the DC, Marvel, and Star Wars stuff coming out. I tend to think the new DC films are going to disappoint too

Skipping Poe would be insane though. It really would. People love that guy.

I hope they make Poe, when watching the trailers I thought I would hate his character but he turned out to be a very humble and likable character

tbh i dont see him as a background character. He was very important on getting the ball rolling for the main plot of the movie and giving finn his opportunity. Not to mention him on starkiller base I will be so disappointed if they dont make him. Im hoping hes just coming at a later date and they already have him planned

They're definitely making this guy. Just a matter of when. He was heavily promoted as one of the three main new heroes before the film so you know Hot Toys has been working on him.
