Of course!!
Don't underestimate the appeal of figures outside of the OT. There's a broader fan base there. Let me remind you that more OT figures are still rotting on Sideshow's website compared to PT or EU.

Of course!!
I dont know, General Obi may still be available and Padme was there forever. Sure there are still some OT stuff but its all relative to the amount of pieces they release for each. ALL the EU stuff generally sticks around for awhile, thats why dropping two more at SDCC was puzzling.
At any rate this line has been stale for quite some time. Get your act together SS.
I just want more stormies and some fetts, but anything armoured that looks cool is good as well You have to remember some people like myself want multiples of troopers. I have 6 SS stormtroopers and plan on getting 8 or 9 of the sandtroopers variants when they come out. Id also like several snow troopers, scout troopers, AT-AT drivers etc etc.
You cant go wrong with army builders. I just wish they would get on with banging out more troopers they know everyone wants them. Thankfully the scout trooper is high on the list, i cant wait to get a few of them
Just wish they'd consider the Commandos. That design is sheer awesomeness and if they did the RC characters from the books and the games (Delta and Omega), I think they'd be successful enough to finish. Hell, they really only need to do one from Omega squad and offer him with the weapons for all four. That'd pretty much guarantee people bought multiples of him.
Compare that to the OT stuff that hasn't sold. Two examples out of how many sold out PT figures? Just recently, Bespin Luke and Boussh Leia were still up on 2nd chance as well. Again, looking at what's there and still available, there's more OT stuff than PT. The ES is irrelevant since they were big for each release and then started scaling back due to the recession. Matter of fact, until last week, Vader, arguably THE 1:6 centerpiece of every Star Wars collection, was up again on 2nd Chance (I suspect they've taken him off again until Spook). I'd say the very fact of him not selling out initially, further debunks the theory.
A theory which in and of itself is nothing more than a close-minded perception of what Star Wars "should be" to a group of elitists in hopes that Sideshow will focus on a selfish, considerably narrow aspect of the license. Because god forbid you guys had to deal with the fact that there's actually any legitimate business in selling PT and EU figures, right?
If your pointing that at me, I never said anything about PT figs im all for em No Eu figs have sold well, so why make more?
You pretty much personified the people I was commenting about with that post. If the EU wasn't profitable, likely Lucas would've canned it loooooooooong ago.
Man, your so awesome
Ok, I forgot about Ventress, my bad. Whats your reasoning behind Ilum Padme?
And until figues ship and show sold out, what SS post on their site proves nothing SOOO many people order than cancel.
I don't get what you mean by "until figures ship" though. Clone Obi and the Stormtrooper Commander have long since shipped.I think 'wait list' is a catch-all for things that sell out. They are just automatically put into 'wait list' status, just in case people cancel, etc. Then, someone has to manually go through inventory and figure out which items are very unlikely to ever come back into stock, then manually close the wait list/cancel current W orders for that item/etc...
