Then again, they might still be burned by the unpopularity of the Endor Troopers (plus, Rebel Fleet Trooper and Antilles) and may want to avoid Rebel based military.

:lecture At $100+ each a pop, I know I won't buy them. Maybe one Pilot Luke, but that's it.

This is not a line that screams for every single character to be made... especially at the pace and price point of each figure. That's why some of us are anxious for more core characters.

I'd buy them but that's the completist in me talking...:joy

Here's what I did to the completist in me years ago:

:impatient:....................:gah:

That's why some of us are anxious for more core characters.

It's a good reason to be.

These are the only figures at this point that I see as must haves.

TPM Anakin
TPM Obi-wan
AOTC Anakin
Geonosis Padme
Count Dooku
Jango Fett
Cmdr. Cody
Cmdr. Bly
Cmdr. Bacara
Cmdr. Gree

Chewbacca
R2-D2
C-3PO
Jawa
Tusken Raider
Grand Moff Tarkin
X-Wing Luke
2-1B
Snowtrooper
Hoth Trooper
Hoth Leia
Boba Fett
Lobot
ESB Darth Vader
Skiff Guard Lando
Biker Scout
ROTJ Darth Vader

You could probably trim more off if you wanted, but I think if they hit all that as a minimum, the line will not be a failure. It wouldn't be a success either. A lot more figures would have to be made for it to live up to what it should be.

Nice! But $5 more for a snake...and why does the non exclusive show a different colored snake? Still pre-ordered the exclusive...just weird. Nice that they added the log too. He looks good, very happy.

The Hut is freakin' amazing...if only I had that kind of dough!

Totally different. The Endor Troopers failed because:

a) They released them all at one. They should have done a generic beardless, but screen accurate Rebel Soldier and then after six months or so done the Nik Sant character.

b) Generic goatee guy. I know he thrilled the occassional fan that looks passingly like him, but could not be less interested. It is a Star Wars licence, not sculpt Randy from accounts receivable.

c) Released too soon. Before say an Endor Han, Biker Scouts or Wicket, which we are still waiting for.

In Contrast:

a) Wedge Antilles and Biggs Darklighter are actually characters widely recognised by name with additional backstories provided by the EU. Wedge is in all 3 films.

Nik Sant was apparently a real character, I recognised him by sight because of his unique white beard, but how many people knew his name before the 1:6 release?

b) X-Wing Luke was a popular Kenner character for the entire run and went with 2 key toys. I remember Endor Troopers being considered lame as a kid (warming the pegs at Tesco).

c) Their helmets are design/colour-rich and that makes a big difference past their facial, hair differences..

Wasn't that Brant from Sideshow? :lol

So there's no preview for tomorrow... are we to assume they're done, or that the rest will be revealed in regular Comic-Con style?
