I'm thinking its Yoda as well , if you look it the pic I think its a side shot of him you can make out his shoulder. I'll be ordering . I wondering if SS will reveal one more on opening day?? Its definatly high time Cody is revealed.

Re Yoda

I hope you guys are wrong, because that means a Tusken Raider and a Yoda, because we already know he is coming. How lame will SDCC be if the SW 1:6 'reveals' are things we already knew from sneak-peaks to be on the way?

Besides I genuinely think the cloth looks more Sandpeople-esque in colour and relative cleanliness.

At this point, I say, screw big reveals and fanfare, just get the figures out there. Fanfare was fun when the line started, but as long as it's been going and as much as there's still to do, I'd rather them just work on getting more out there regardless of when or how it's unveiled.

I'd prefer they release them normally and save a few surprises for SDCC (like they used to do), rather than hold off on everything then announce a new product every day for SDCC. It really bleeds all the excitement out of it.

Yeah, that is exactly how I feel. The occassional out-of-nowhere surprise is refreshing in an information-saturated age.

So finger crossed, Tusken Raider. FTW!

absolutely.

I'm just more eager for the figures to be rolled out. If not worrying about cons and anniveraries could mean getting more out sooner, I'd rather that route, if having things be big reveals has little bearing on ammount of releases and timing, then keep up the big surprises. I can just think of plenty more figures I'd like to see done in this line and would hate for some not to make it because the line moved slower to have certain pieces available at certain times instead of just putting them out as soon as they're ready.

:lecture This new approach was an experiment, and I hope a failed one.

Attendence must be down for this year's show; economy and all. So maybe they thought it wiser to reveal everything online rather than make a big tada at the show itself.

I hope they hold something back for the show.

I too feel excitement dies out in the case of hearing about an upcoming release and having to wait for a long while before seeing any images, not to mention the awaiting time before actually receiving the item.:(

I've got mixed feelings on stuff like that. Example, Cody and the Gamorrean Guard, it was nice to get the teases last year so you knew how close to reality they were, but then the wait, a year for Gammy, possibly over a year for Cody if he's not part of SDCC, you start going ok, great, you're working on them, but how much longer will it be. I think I'd still prefer to know things will actually happen than to wonder if a certain figure will ever be more than a name scribbled on a list of candidates.
