So it's Maul, heh? That's fantastic news, for both, the Maul fans, and me! I don't like Maul enough to spend the $250 to $300 this PF is likely going to cost. Pew, glad I get a brake, after 2 very very very very expensive months (and many more to come!).
I'm happy for all the Maul fans who will finally get a more than great representation of their beloved SW character. But for me, it was about time SSC anounced a SW item I wouldn't buy! Collecting SW items from SSC is quite expencive!

I am glad about this PF for a couple of reasons.

1. I am not crazy about how it came out so I can pass.
2. Maul has now been done in PF, 1:1 bust, 12", Statue ( GG ) and mini bust ( GG ). That just about covers all the forms he needs to be made in so people can stop screaming for MORE Maul.....I like him and all, but enough maul already.

Now that I said that I am sure people will say he needs to be made in 30 other formats too.

Great !!
I want more pictures to have a fair opinion about this MAUL.

But he's already looking great. :chew

I also think that he's a part of a diaporama fight betwenn QUI-GON JINN and OBI-WAN.
That will explain his particular attitude.

And THE MAUL PF MUST have electronic light up light saber !!
And a CAPE as an EXCLUSIVE item !

It is still great to see Ian McCaig talk about the creation of Maul, and of the Maul 1:1 bust especially.

Draws out the fun, yes, but it's a pleasant tease...

So back to the pose for a second......

It's similar to the "pose" in the pause after the first clash between Maul and Obi Wan right after Qui Gon is killed.

Similar, yeah. But not enough, I think, to invite a real comparison. That "pose" was much more extreme, more intense and dynamic. He had dropped way down, almost into a crouch, and his feet were spread apart wa-a-ay past the shoulder-width we see in the PF.

I know I'm nitpicking.

I'm so stoked (I know I've said that like 10 times already). SS didn't make this for me but I can't thank them enough for putting him out sooner rather than later. This character despite how short he's a part of the SW Movie Saga is just beyond cool for me.
