Its funny Flacco is 7?
Where would he be if Denvers D doesn't collapse?

I think he had a incredible post season run but past that he is average. His numbers are middle of the pack and I don't think he is top 10 in any single category (maybe INTs)

I think lots of Flaccos warts (throwing to only one side, lollipop prayers, and forcing throws into coverage) are covered up by the talent he's throwing to. Smith and Boldin are very good WRs who are big or athletic and will fight for the ball. Pitta is a good underrated TE. Rice is a dangerous option of out the backfield too.

Flacco will most likely end up with 15M per year.

At the very least $14.64 million with the franchise tag. Probably more if they work out a long term deal. Based on his quotes before and after the game the guy is ready to be paid now. It wouldn't shock me if he has a small holdout in camp if there isn't a deal in place.

The Jaguars unveiled their new logo today. Too bad it didn't incorporate Shad Khan's impressive mustache.:lol

Im so disappointed with our new logo, there was nothing wrong with the old one. It looks like something a Highschool football team would wear, not an NFL team. The other Jaguar "fans" seem to hate it too.

Except it looking outdated as ****. But they can't make everyone happy.

I remember last year, all the people *****in about the Panthers logo and it's fat lip. To those people I :rotfl. What fat lip?

Yeah just look at the Super Bowl lst of throw it up and hope DB makes a mistake or his receiver makes a play.

If he asks for to much they will be seriously hurting next year since they need to lose like 5M in cap money and got lots of guys to resign.

That sucks :(

I had forgotten he went to school at the same college I went to and even while I was down there. :rock

Man, that sucks.

Rob Ryan to the Saints? That should help clean up the image, :lol
Well, as long as they don't do something violating league rules or *snicker* standards, then who cares about the D's image. I'm more worried about the fact that this guy is still living off the rep of his dad, and may just not be very good. With the Saints, a defensive coordinator has a pretty dang tough job, because he doesn't have much real talent to work with. So, if the Saints D is good next year, then I'll be a believer in Ryan.

How good can you be if the Raiders fired you, lol?

Since they're good friends, Sean Payton should call up Jerry Jones and ask him about Rob Ryan. Didn't really follow him too much when he was the DC at Oakland and Cleveland. When he came to Dallas, I was intrigued, and really excited at the thought of pass rushers Demarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer being unleashed. One of his talking points when he came to Dallas was that he was going to play everybody regardless of pedigree, whether they were a first round pick or a free agent off the street. Sounds good in theory, but there were so many games where I say Demarcus Ware come off the field on obvious passing situations I was WTF?!?!?! I understand that losing both starting middle linebackers (especially a budding star in Sean Lee) and replacing them with guys off the street like Ernie Sims will hurt the defense, but still. Ryan's bark is worse than his bite. Both he and his brother talk to damn much. There was one game this season where Rob Ryan was hit with a 15 yard penalty for walking on the field and jawing with an offensive player.

I remember way back when Tom Coughlin was the Jacksonville Head Coach and one of his policies was that assistant coaches were not allowed to give interviews. Back then I thought that that policy frankly sucked, because it somewhat prevents an assistant coach from getting their name out there as far as being a HC candidate. But then I see Rob Ryan, and I wish that policy had been instituted when he was in Dallas.
