Good news, Dallas Clark hasn't caught a pass vs the Dolphins D today.

Even better...Ted Ginn has not dropped the winning pass yet today.

Edit - You know what, that wildcat gave the fins a 3:1 T.O.P. advantage. And that truly makes me wonder how much it would affect a team like my beloved Steelers who are notorious ball hogs even without the wildcat.

Current NFL "power rankings" are up. Baltimore is number 1, and the Saints are at number 7. Falcons are at #4. Can't wait to see the Saints and Falcons get it on. I'm genuinely curious as to who has the better team right now.

They both have to clash with the mighty AFC East this weekend - don't count out my Bills; and I am betting on the Falcons to beat the Pats.

It is only 2 games so far, but it does certainly look as if there are some pretty drastic changes in the ability of a few of the teams this year.

I don't think anyone would have predicted what has happened in Carolina or Tennessee. :horror

48 hours and 10 minutes from now I will be sitting in front of my TV with my wings and a beer watching...well...whatever team is on TV locally. I dropped my NFL Sunday Ticket. I originally thought I did it as an offering to my wife of doing my part to cut back on un-necessary expenses, but it turns out that I did it so that she would have more money to waste...

go figure.

Anyway...I'll be digging on whatever game is on and following the Steelers on the internet at the same time.

Come on, Sunday!

I am not quite ready to write off the Pats yet. I'll give them the B.O.T.D. this week. But if the let me down...that's it.

This is still so early in the season, that depending on the division, a team could play like poo for the next 5-6 weeks or so and still get into the playoffs and make a serious run. Of course, we all feel however we want to, but I wouldn't write off any team,* particularly the Pats, after just a couple of lackluster games.

*exception of the Oakland Raiders
