I'm sure he's about to take a shot down field after he's seen that Richard Sherman has already been flagged for defensive holding

I live in the DC area and get inundated with RGIII news, and by extension, news on Washington's football team. Although I'm a Cowboys' fan and have facetiously referred to him as RGMe in a few posts, I have nothing against the guy. He seems like a genuinely smart kid who unfortunately has believed some of his own hype. He didn't do his coaching staff or the organization any favors last offseason saying/tweeting that he was "All in for week 1". Without any reps in the preseason, he was bound to be rusty (and as we all know, by no means is he a pocket passer). Just because James Andrews did the procedure for Adrian Peterson as well and AD had a career year afterwards, there was guarantee Griffin would come back as strong.
His leadership skills (or lack thereof) have been questioned. After each Washington loss, it was always "We have to play better", and he was taking passive aggressive shots at the coaching staff. This was most notable after the second Philly game, where Washington came back, but RGIII threw a stupid pick in the end zone. Veterans such as Santana Moss chaffed when Griffin didn't take responsibility and own up to his mistakes; instead, he took pot shots at the coaching staff, saying the "Eagles knew what we were calling".
Griffin has denied the reports saying that he didn't want video of his bad plays being shown, saying that some one leaked that report for "character assassination". Earlier this week, when asked about the ESPN report that Shanahan considered quitting last season due to RGIII's relationship with Snyder, he replied "I have no comment...[this story] is not relevant to my life". WTF? Yes, it is relevant.
By no means is Griffin the only complicit one in this debacle. Sorry, but Shanahan has no business coaching anymore. His coaching record without Elway speaks for itself. And he didn't do himself any favors as well by hiring his son as the offensive coordinator.
But the biggest problem in all this? Owner Dan Snyder, who cultivates a star system with the Redskins. Snyder wants to be buddy buddy with his players. Snyder's personal security team accompanies Griffin out on the town. That parking spot referenced in the earlier post? It's actually inside the stadium, where NO players have ever had a parking spot before. From the Washington Post:
Allegedly during last year's win over Baltimore, where RGIII was injured and Kirk Cousins came in to lead Washington to victory, Snyder spoke with Griffin in the locker room at length after the game...but didn't say a word to Cousins, who's locker was next to Griffins and had led Washington to victory. This infuriated Shanahan to no end.
All and all, it's a debacle here in DC.
The AFC just opened up a tad more
For now, but if the Steelers beat the Bengals things pretty much go back to where they were before Thursday.

Wish we woulda looked like this against the niners last week!
Is it just me or with that last int did you guys hear that little kid yell "you suck eli, you suck!"
The D has actually stuffed us though on some scoring opp.
2 INTs already for Brees. Both completely his fault, from horrible throws into coverage.
