All this talk about Favre is making us miss the bigger picture, IMO.

The Cowboys really suck this year! :banana

LOL :lol comparing a sport with 11 players on the field vs 5 is laughable.

How so? The NBA has the biggest pussies in sports IMO. Worse than soccer players. Everything is a damn foul. Have you watched the NFL lately? I will have to look up the statistics but I feel like there are more fouls this year than the start of any other year. The number of players has nothing to do with it.

For the record too. ESPN who has been sucking Favres nuts all night agrees with me. NOT pass interference sir. Not even close. :peace

Correction. The worst GM in NFL history said he didn't like the call.:monkey3

edit: Watching the replay again it didn't look as bad as it originally did. I still think 9 times out of 10 it gets called though. You can clearly see Woodson turn Rices body by pulling him. If it was just his arm around him Rice's right shoulder wouldn't have been turned back which is more than likely what brought the flag out.

I thought you were referring to the "individuality" of the players. My point was that with a sport like basketball with only 5 players on the floor, of course it will be more of an individual type of sport for the media.

Now you're talking about fouls being called but the players are "pussies"? Last time I checked, the players are not the ones calling the fouls. :lol If the players had it their way, elbows and headbutts would be allowed.

PS: are you drunk? :lol

Man. I think Steve Young might have to change his holy mormon undies with all the jizz stains he'll have on em' from dry hunchin' Rodgers. I knew I should have stuck to my rule of muting the tv when Young starts talking.

Dude come on. There is so much acting and fake grunting in the NBA you couldn't pay me to watch a game.

Let's be honest, your argument is silly. the NBA is not a contact sport like the NFL. comparing the two is ridiculous.

Sure there are ways to try to get calls, but that is part of the game. Getting to the free throw line is part of the game. There is no free throw or foul shots in the NFL so why would players "try" to get calls?

I just think you're being a bit ignorant. And if you dont think that every sport has it's fair share of cheap things that go on, get real.

Even for a so called pus$y sport, you'd get eaten alive on the court.

Basketball is lame. I never said I could play either. I wouldn't want to. I was simply making a comparision. If you can't deal with it sorry. I just don't want the NFL to turn into the constant penalty fest ala the NBA. That's all I'm saying.

Can/have you even played football?

Football, Baseball, Wrestling, Karate, Basketball, were pretty much all of the sports I have played. In the higher levels I stuck with Baseball and Wrestling. Come on dude. You know me. I'm not one of the....well nevermind. You know. Lets just say I am athletic. You don't make it through Marine bootcamp and become an infantryman if you are not. So I'm not sure where you are going with that.

Maybe some are "pussies"? :monkey3

I know one thing...despite being 2-2 Big Ben is doing fairly well this year....so far...but I realize bigger tests are yet to come.

Completed Passes - #2 behind Tom Brady

Completion Percentage - #2 behind Gradkowski

Passing yards - #3 behind Manning and Rivers (and only about 150 yards from Manning)

Passing Touchdowns - #11 behind...OK every QB that matters...ouch

Rushing Yards - #21 behind...well...everyone...very ouch

Rushing Touchdowns - #1 behind...well...nobody

Unfortunately, he does have 4 interceptions and that has to be low on the totem pole as well.

I am still happy with him so far.

Now, if the defense would stay for all 4 quarters, the Steelers would be set. Maybe I need to re-evaluate my idea of Polamalu's value.
