3 years, and Kapernick hasn't improved his game management and he doesn't have the toughness to stay in the pocket and deliver a pass under heat. This guy will never get SF over the hill. By the time management realizes this, their defense won't be anywhere near what it was.

They already paid him, so you pretty much have to live with him for at least the next 2 years. He'll continue to grow and learn from it, but as a Seahawks fan thank god we have Russell Wilson.

Another thing that annoyed me about seattle's game today was that they didn't run the ball nearly enough, I mean 6 rushes for Marshawn Lynch on the road? really!? I know you have new toys to play with Darell Bevell but c'mon man, you could've ran the ball more on the last 3 posessions when the defense actually got some stops and took some pressure off the o-line in pass protection and put us in more manageable third downs.

it seems like teams are going to catch onto the jet sweep VERY quickly. Fun here and there but I wouldn't make it a staple.

I believe the way his contract was done they could cut him at anytime and it's basically nothing on the cap.

its even more effective when the refs flat blow the call and the REQUIRED review.

yeah it structured so they can walk away before the season as long as he is not injured and he will not be guaranteed money.

“Adrian Peterson has been informed that he was indicted by a grand jury in Montgomery County, Texas for Injury to a Child. The charged conduct involves using a switch to spank his son. This indictment follows Adrian’s full cooperation with authorities who have been looking into this matter. Adrian is a loving father who used his judgment as a parent to discipline his son. He used the same kind of discipline with his child that he experienced as a child growing up in east Texas. Adrian has never hidden from what happened. He has cooperated fully with authorities and voluntarily testified before the grand jury for several hours. Adrian will address the charges with the same respect and responsiveness he has brought to this inquiry from its beginning. It is important to remember that Adrian never intended to harm his son and deeply regrets the unintentional injury.”

A Switch? Like a light switch?

If anything, this whole thing has taught me that people from the north have no idea what a switch is, lol

I didn't realize until this weekend that it was primarily a southern term.

That was what I thought. Might be time since our window is only open so long.

I don't know if people really consider Missouri part of the south or not but I know what the term means.

I was born in New Mexico and moved to Seattle when I was 27.... We called it a stick.

I wouldn't put the blame just on Kap, they hardly ran the ball in the second half against one of the worst rush defenses in the NFL and that Fuller made 2 huge interceptions. Those weren't bad throws, that was just great defensive play, Fuller wasn't even on the guy on the second interception, he went off his man once the ball went up and made a great play and the first one he just took the ball away from the receiver. Kap does seem like he wants to bounce around and be the hero a bit to much but I can't really say he's terrible when he's gone to back to back championship games and a super bowl. Not to mention the two playoff loses he has were by mere points. To me Kap is what RG3 wants to be but can't because he doesn't have the size or durability for it. If Kap starts making better decisions in the clutch there won't be many others better than him.

So I'm assuming Goodell's MO was, "Quick, have the Monday Night Football refs make some atrocious, game-altering calls to distract from everything else!"

It's ridiculous and hypocritical on some level, watching a company that sells products that frequently lead to death and misery making moralistic proclamations. But it's not surprising, as this is all about public opinion. In general, the U.S. populace thinks it's OK to drink alcohol, but not to spank a child.

I'm from Ohio and I know what it is too. We just don't draw blood with it.

Most of the population from what I've read is okay with spanking, but what he did couldn't be called that.

I don't know if it's the DUIs that are the problem or the breaking of the law itself. Some contracts have conduct clauses in them. Could be a way of getting rid of players they no longer want too.

I wonder if the NFL image is really taking a "hit" with this sudden on pour of crimes by all these players. I don't recall so many players in any league getting popped for so many different crimes in a short amount of time (minus the steroid stuff in the MLB). Obviously Peterson is in the light now that Rice got punished, but there are still a few other players getting hit under the radar. Marshall and Dwyer are in the news today. The NFL just looks really bad to me, I don't buy any of their products anyways, but I wonder if people really care about any of these things or if most are numb to it.
