I wonder if the NFL image is really taking a "hit" with this sudden on pour of crimes by all these players. I don't recall so many players in any league getting popped for so many different crimes in a short amount of time (minus the steroid stuff in the MLB). Obviously Peterson is in the light now that Rice got punished, but there are still a few other players getting hit under the radar. Marshall and Dwyer are in the news today. The NFL just looks really bad to me, I don't buy any of their products anyways, but I wonder if people really care about any of these things or if most are numb to it.

As Bree's said the other day we are talking about 5 guys out if 2000. The amount if coverage is insane, every news outlet is eating this **** up.

I'm from Ohio and I know what it is too. We just don't draw blood with it.

Most people don't go that far...I was spanked with a switch but never to that extreme.

The worst part was having to pick out my own switch...I've always been a smarta** so I would come back in with a little twig which would just make it worse, lol.

I find it interesting that something from July is just now resulting in an arrest.

I don't see how someone can crack down on this, there are how many different jurisdictions. This was more of a we better make sure we get charges done on this guy before someone finds out we haven't don anything yet. This was CYA by the agency.

Now the news is giving Brandon Marshel **** for what he did 6-7 years ago. He went through the legal process and has changed a ton since then. No issues on or off the field, yet the media feels they need to attack him now..WTF?

If you look at it objectively, it's stupid. But, this is a pitfall of being in a high paying, high profile entertainment industry like the NFL. These guys get money, women, adoration of a fanbase, and sometimes, ridiculous or unfair overreactions. Everything is blown out of proportion here, good and bad, but it's what they should expect going in.

So about a month ago there was a news article about Jerry Jones talking to Adrian Peterson about playing for the Cowboys in the future. Soon after that we have charges against AP coming out of Texas. AP career in MN is pretty much done(which sucks since he was my #1 pick this year,LOL).
