Well you guessed wrong. I watch all the time (Pre-season, Thursday, Sunday, Mondays and Saturdays when they start up) - even spend on nfl direct ticket to watch teams other than my favorite. I watch the draft - actually study the players in the off season. I travel over an hour to many of my teams open practices. I know all the players on my favorite team including the practice squad. Even picked good old Adrian first on my fantasy team. I am way more than a casual fan and have been for over 30 years. What is going on in the NFL right now is disgusting from the players up to the commissioner.

After having to spend last year ripping the name off my favorite players jersey - yeah I was so impressed to find out I rooted for a killer. Adrian is just sort of the final straw for me. Football was an escape from the real world and now I might as well watch the news if I enjoy this type of entertainment. I guess I just need to stick to movies and video games as I am just way to sensitive for this crap.
What's going is NOTHING new, only thing that's different is the 24 hours media circus and the idiotic social media aspect. You just never knew about this stuff. Not to mention 20-30 years ago what Peterson did would have been called good parenting.

********! That was never considered good parenting. You don't injure your child with a spanking. Sounds like he beat him with a switch when he was naked. That is abuse.

Yea, I can't condone what peterson did as anything remotely acceptable. I do think that he thought it was ok given he was raised that way. It will be interesting to see how the league handles it. If this had happened last year, he probably would get off with a minor suspension but given the **** storm created by the ray rice situation, I can see them giving AP a pretty drastic penalty. Regardless, he deserves whatever he gets...dumb football players...

But I can watch a movie and not have to sit though endless analyzing about each actor in it - there is a huge difference between that and watching a live sporting event or tuning into a sports channel right now. Not that it matters but I am a girl by the way.

Total turd by Seattle from top to bottom. I know they can't win them all but you have to beat the so so teams. Oh well... better wake up fast.

And my stupid Buccaneers just lost to a 3rd string QB... after losing to a 2nd string QB last week.... And they have a pissed off Matt Ryan on Thursday... UGH.

Saints are 0-2, which is surprising considering how well they played last year. Offense has been pretty solid, so I it really comes down to the defense so far. Not sure how they went from being 4th in the league in terms of points allowed, to allowing 30 something and then 26 in consecutive weeks. But whatever they're doing now isn't working. Both games were close and won at the very end of the game by their opponents, but good teams win those kinds of games, like the Saints did in the year they won the Super Bowl. Hopefully they can turn things around quickly.

Jesus, looked like an amateur team going up against the chargers today. Defense needs to get their **** together this year.

3 words: Rob Ryan Defense.

There are reasons the Raiders, Cowboys and Browns all fired him LOL.

It's funny how it worked so well last year though. And other teams presumably already knew how he coached, so it isn't like they must have learned something new from last year. Payton was pissed at Ryan once today for something. Not sure what that was about, but. . .this year so far the defense feels like the Greg Williams defense of the past, and that's not good.

I was at the Chargers game and that **** was hot as hell, holy crap, the entire stadium was covered in sun and on the field it was 114 degrees. When your defense is on the field for 42 minutes no defense is going to hold up in those conditions. Just a bad game and a little bit of help from the bad circumstances as well. We'll bounce back from this, it's a 16 game season, and look at all the teams that looked like crap last week that won big this week and vice versa. No need to panic at all, just move on the to the next game and knuckle up. If we can't get up for the Super Bowl rematch and try to put 40-8 on them again then I'll be worried.

That must have been miserable being in the stands for that game. 120 on the field in full pads. ..... **** that I'd opt to sit that one out lol.

Man, I cannot stand Kapernick. One thing I'll give Seattle of SF is at least they have someone who knows how to play that position.

3 years, and Kapernick hasn't improved his game management and he doesn't have the toughness to stay in the pocket and deliver a pass under heat. This guy will never get SF over the hill. By the time management realizes this, their defense won't be anywhere near what it was.
