You have to have stinker games. There are only so many "good" teams and you can't keep scheduling the same 5 or 6 teams for every prime time game. Plus, I don't think anyone would have picked the Ravens to be as bad as they are since they're almost always in the playoff mix.

There's always the risk of getting a dud game as the season unfolds due to injuries and some teams not panning out, but I have to question the sanity of anyone who thought that the Browns would be a must see team. It's like they haven't watched football since 1999. At least ESPN seems to have caught on.

Having been a fan of a crappy team for most of my childhood, I appreciate that bad teams get a Monday (or Sunday) night game now and again. Sure, the Browns and Jacksonville shouldn't get 5 or 10 of those games a year like your New Englands or Peyton Manning-led teams seem to, but throw the local fans a bone here or there! Plus, of course, you'll have surprises every year. So, its hedging their bets to put the suspected stinkers in one or two games just in case.

Here is the HUGE difference between Bill and Brady than you they actually are involved in the game. You are just a fan but act like its as if not more important to you than them. You can be mad all you want guess what it was called RIGHT. Just because you , Bill and Brady didn't know the rule doesn't change the fact they called it right. That is their job to know that and they failed to know it. It changed last year i think due to safety. They didnt want players trying to stay on the field with a concussion (ala case keenum) to avoid a penalty and time runoff.

What the ****? I don't act like it is more important me then them. You sure love to put words into others mouth. Still waiting for the reason why the clock magically ticked down.... BS. Only part of the factor of the loss. The "holding" call in the endzone to give them a new set of downs was probably the biggest blown call. Then the PI call on Gronk and he gets hurt next play... Offensive holding call..... non call on Brady hit.... a lot of people can see the terrible calls, not hard to see.

Former players are also calling out the Refs to for those calls. But.... let me guess.... you know more than them to. Just sad.

NFL has and always will manipulate games to there choosing. Even in 07 the Pats vs Ravens game went like this one. Multiple BS calls on Ravens to help the Pats keep there undefeated season alive. Look at the NBA to. Even NASCAR manipulates the races.

All that matters now is Gronk is good to go. Amendola will be back. Collins is healthy. Edleman back for playoffs. Plus home field throughout still.

Here is the holding call on the last play for the "game winning td" Of course it is a no call and Broncos "win"

No call. Clear... CLEAR HOLD.... yet nothing was done about it.

Sad thing is... both Ravens and Browns have a super small chance to get in the playoffs. Not going to happen, but ya never know.

Has a team ever had there starting QB, RB, and #1 WR all injured for a game?

Every single person should read this article about all the BS calls on the Pats last night. Please, someone, explain how all these "calls" are made. Play by play, gifs of the garbage flags. Terrible terrible calls. Worst officiated game of the year.

Even celebrities are tweeting about the call on those games. Just terrible.

Ahhh The worst blown call was the Tuck Rule

;)

Go Raiders :)

There are missed calls and missed plays all the time sometimes in bigger games... :)

Seriously though.... Don't get hung up on holding calls and such... It sucks when it effects the game but it happens all the time and will always happen. In fact Pats are good enough that you should not worry too much about bad calls... People with average / bad teams usually complain the most because they are not good enough to overcome. The Dallas fans around me think they would be 8-2 if it was not for the Refs :lol

I don't post here much because the Raiders have not given me much to post about :)

Was pulling for the Pats last night.... Brady Haters have turned me into a semi Pats fan because I get tired of hearing the biased hate..

Felt so bad for Tom when Gronk went down... The look on his face said it all.... Sounds like Gronk will be back in two weeks... Lucky for Tom. You can only do so much with nothing. Even if you are the Best QB of all time...

Tuck was Still was a fumble..... ;)

There are missed holding calls on just about every play in the NFL. Hell, there are already flags thrown on what seems like half the plays. The blatant stuff should be called, but overall I'd rather let them play. Sadly, the NFL loves to call everything now. Holding is the one thing you can semi get away with at times.

Well, last night pretty much summed up the history of Cleveland football since 1999. I really don't know why I bother anymore. I'd be happy about getting closer to a top draft pick except I know they're just going to make a stupid choice anyway.

On the bright side, we DO have a team motto:

Did the refs take a crowbar to Tony Romo's shoulder? I live in Dallas and haven't heard a single person blaming the refs for what has happened this season.

Injuries and bringing on a cancer like Greg Hardy is what doomed this team.
