Any thoughts on the upcoming HOF vote? Bolded my selections

Morten Andersen
Steve Atwater
Don Coryell - The pass happy league of today is a product of what Coryell was doing years ago. Absolutely belongs.
Terrell Davis - Great, but too short of a career
Tony Dungy-x - He'll get in eventually because of his closeness with the media. I'm not sure how deserving he is though. His numbers resemble those of George Seifert who has another ring and nobody is beating the drum for him. If people are looking at the minority aspect Tom Flores has 2 rings and nobody mentions him.
Alan Faneca* - Great player + Steeler factor = HOF
Brett Farve*
Kevin Greene-x
Marvin Harrison-x
Joe Jacoby
Edgerrin James
John Lynch
Terrell Owens*
Orlando Pace-x
Kurt Warner-x

* First year eligible
-x In Final 10 last year

Senior finalists / Contributors (separate vote)
Eddie DeBartolo Jr
Ken Stabler - Too bad it would be posthumous
**** Stanfel

I hope John Lynch finally gets in. He was one of (of not the) top safeties during his day and was a huge part of one of the best D's ever. You always accounted for Lynch if you were on the other team because he would knock you into next week.

Not many people outside of New Orleans probably know of Morten Anderson, but he was my sports idol as a kid. The only Saints player really worth a damn for many years, and certainly one of the the best players they ever had. I hope he gets in, but the name recognition may not be significant enough.

Joe Jacoby should have been in years ago. He was one of the most dominant left tackles in the game for a decade. He and Russia Grimm anchored the Hogs.

Anyone who followed football in the 80s+ should know who he is.

Clearly, you're only familiar with players of a certain era.

Shows how smart you are. I picked Stabler. Most of those guys are from the mid 90s to 00s, so what are you talking about with that stupid "era" comment.

Favre and Owens are first ballots. Warner should be in. Pace/Faneca is a toss up, but if Pace didn't get in first ballot, Faneca won't either, so I choose Pace. Only one I didn't pick that I should have is Coryell.

No. Brady is the GOAT. Who do you think is the GOAT?

You finally got it and don’t even realize it. Its not who IS the greatest its who do you THINK is the greatest. You seem to be the only one who can’t realize that you can’t compare athletes of different decades. You can make a top 10 and the odds are everyone will have 7-8 the same but nobody will 100% agree on #1.

I just asked him to prove him wrong :lol

You can compare athletes from different eras. That is like saying you can't compare anything because it is from a different era.
