My only concern with Brady is that he's a cheater. History will probably not look kindly on him for that. But putting that aside, he might be the best. Just like Mark McGuire is one of the the best hitters ever, BUT. . .

Lots of great cheater athletes over time, so he's in good company.

I really don't see what it matters but then again I am not in high school anymore. Back in my younger WWEJedi days I probably would have been lured into a red assed argument about Emmitt vs Barry or something, but now I just realize how fortunate I was to be able to watch Emmitt and enjoy 3 Super Bowls because of him. I don't care where people rank him on the GOAT list, I just miss those days...they go by fast.

Yes, they do which is why I'm enjoying the run the Patriots have been on for the last 15 years for all it's worth. I still find it hard to believe that people get so angry about the New England Patriots. The hapless Patriots. When I was a kid anything approaching .500 was a major deal. This current run will be over in the next 2-3 years and NFL fandom can find another team to spew venom about.

Don't ever put Brady in the company of steroid users again. That is where Manning belongs.

The jealousy towards Brady and stupidity in regards to information is clear in your post. Please explain how he cheated. He didn't. But hey, I guess those Saints of yours are just that.... saints.....

Ah, yes...the tried and true millennial method of internet debating...disparaging/insulting an individual who you know nothing about and then posting your self-confirmed credentials. I didn't know we had the next John Nash here. If your mathematical ability is so high, then by all means prove the mathematical theorem that 4-0 is better than 4-2.

If and when you do make it your hero's alma mater (or whatever institute of higher learning you go to), take a basic Logic course and a Statistics course. You may want to work on your reading comprehension as well.

Already accepted.. going to University of Michigan and will be picking classes in May.... so yes.... it is not a matter of if.....

Already taking a stats course.... I have a 104% in it. I spent a total of ten minutes of my time outside of class for Stats..... I haven't even applied myself either. Just show up... listen... do the problem.... way below me. I regret taking it.

I am stuck on nothing. It was YOUR OWN post that stated 4-2 is better than 4-0, to which I argued. Those are the parameters of this argument. That's it. Now, had you had the foresight in your argument to state that Tom Brady, by virtue of him making it to the Super Bowl six times in 17 seasons, is better than Joe Montana's rate of making the Super Bowl four times in 15 seasons, than you would have a valid argument. But of course, you ignore the initial debate of whether 4-0 is superior to 4-2, and bring in additional data that is irrelevant to the original talking point. Does not compute.

You are missing the entire point....

If that's your argument and the extent of your mathematical ability, I don't know what to say.

No. My mathematical ability probably is greater than a good chunk of people here...

Simple problem for you.... x + 4 = 10. I think that is easy enough for you to solve. :)

You are making a straw man argument. AGAIN, the original point I argued was whether a 4-0 record in the Super Bowl is better than a 4-2 record, NOT whether Joe Montana would have rather made it to the big game six times. That's asinine. Of course any player would want to maximize his potential. But again, reading comprehension fails you, and you make a straw man argument in an attempt to prove your point. The facts are Joe Montana won the Super Bowl four times on four tries, and Tom Brady won the Super Bowl four times in six tries. The corresponding debate would be would Joe Montana rather have a 4-0 record in the Super Bowl or a 4-2 record, NOT "Hey Joe, would you rather go to the Super Bowl four times or six times?"

He rather be 4-2 than 4-0. Don't be stupid now. I will use your own words... "any player would want to maximize his potential."

As you so logically present, "Six is bigger than four", well, that's a fact. You're right about that. But "Going to the Super Bowl 6 times compared to 4 is a greater accomplishment" is an opinion, not a fact.

:slap:slap:slap:slap:slap:gah::gah::gah::gah::gah:

WOW! It is a fact, without a doubt. Seriously how do you not think that going to the Super Bowl 6 times is a greater accomplishment than going to it 4? I literally can not comprehend your logic. Wow..... just wow..... that is just stupid of you to think.

Again, let's go full circle and go to the original argument, which you stated without any caveats and qualifiers: 4-2 is better than 4-0. Arguing this point with the two defined records is NOT THE SAME as arguing if a player would rather go to Super Bowl four times or six times.

But hey, believe what you will Junior.

All the regulars who've been here as long as I have and have made the NFL thread an enjoyable forum, my apologies. I shouldn't have taken the bait. Should have just ignored it. This will be the last I post on it. :lol

Going to six super bowls is a greater accomplishment than going to four. I don't know why you can't understand this FACT. By extension.... four wins in six trips is greater than four wins in four trips in (remember... this is the part..... that you struggle with.... i will spell it out for you....) F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L T-E-R-M-S.... not M-A-T-H terms.

4-2 is better than 4-0.

Keep struggling to comprehend this though. I am starting to think that DB stands for something else.....

Yeah, my apology to the old guard was sincere. The great thing about the NFL Thread is that it never degenerated into the NBA Thread. Unfortunately, it's starting to lean that way.

From other board members issues with him, I should've known not to even bother. No worries anymore, he's on ignore. I don't even blame him that much, I remember how I was in my 20's. It gives one carte blanche to be a ****** bag.

Anyways, other news, Denver's D has taken another hit as Malik Jackson has decided to follow Julius Thomas and follow the money to Jacksonville, and JPP gets a one year deal to stay with the Giants.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA! I guess you finally came to the understanding that what you said was stupid! :lol

I love all of these "adults" here. As soon as someone disagrees with them they cry and start putting others on ignore. Sometimes I question how these individuals make it through life if they are so sensitive on the internet. I feel sorry for them. :lol

Look, you don't need to get defensive. No one is judging you for being a fan of a low down cheater like Brady. I feel for you, having a great hero who turns out to be, just a really weak minded, flawed human being. Some would say scum, but I wouldn't.

He's starting to sound like Lance Armstrong "fans" LOL.

He never did anything wrong. Jealous people I guess. I would have more respect for you if you actually explained why or how he cheated.

Jags are looking to pick up Bruce Irvin now too. If they can field a decent defense, their O is pretty good. They could actually contend for the AFC South title.

Ah Gren, the original Pats fan on this thread, and a rational and mature one at that. Yeah, Gus Bradley is slowly building that D up. There are also rumors that if he can't get a new deal, Kam Chancellor could be traded to Jacksonville.

Mario Williams to sign with Miami. If Cameron Wake can make it back from injury and if they can also keep Olivier Vernon, that defensive line with Suh looks to be pretty formidable.

So the balls just happened to deflate?

Ok ok so only a few things could have happened.

1 Tom Brady told them to make them below the limit.

2 Tom Brady told them to make them at the limit and yes the gas law made them lose pressure. But if that was the case why is he hiding. Innocent people don't hide like that. So this one is really ruled out.

3 Bill told them to deflate them and that made him a two time cheater and would have suspended indefinitely and so Brady and the Pats are covering that up.

so either way he was involved in the cheating as he either was the mastermind of his coach was the mastermind and he benefitted from the deflated balls which is cheating. At first I thought option two was the real reason but not how Brady has handled it and his hiding, lack of cooperation shows he is either covering up or guilty and either way a cheater.

You are completely ignorant to information. It is amazing the lack of knowledge you have on this subject yet you open your mouth and act like you know. Just sad.

Lowering the balls to the lowest LEGAL limit is not cheating at all. Nothing is wrong with that. Nothing at all. Every single QB who likes them over-inflated or under-inflated push the PSI to the maximum legal limit.

Tom Brady is not hiding. He is the only one to go under oath. He asked if they need his phone. They told Tom Brady they did not require his phone. After learning this... he destroyed it and got a new one. A famous person like him probably has personal things he rather keep secret and not risk leaking out. A few hundred bucks is chump change for him anyway. I thought he said it was a common practice for him to do anyways.

So please.... tell me how he is not cooperating? He is cooperating to the fullest extent.
So please.... tell me how benefiting.... is cheating.... when he never broke a rule!

Next time you decide to open your mouth, at least have some relevant knowledgeable information to add.
