Hue Jackson and Pep Hamilton are a good fit for RGIII.

If I am the Browns... I trade down from the #2 pick and get a few more picks back. They desperately need players at pretty much every position. Wait to draft a QB in the second round or even just pass on one all together and see how RGIII does. If he does bad.... they get a high pick next year in a draft class that might have more standout, surefire QB prospects.

It would be very ironic if the Browns draft Connor Cook from Michigan State. Might be a repeat of what happened in Washington :lol

I like it. I think RG3 still has some game in him. I think he gets it now... unlike Manziel.
I think he always got it a LOT more than Manziel. He did have a good year that ended in injury and never really fully recovered mentally it seemed and that let to more and more issues.

Sort of ironic...the Rams fleeced Washington for the #2 pick/RGIII, now they go and gives a king's ransom for the #1 pick...they better hope that they didn't get fleeced by the Titans.

This is NOT a Winston - Mariotta or even Luck - RG3 draft... thats a LOT for not a top QB. Good luck LA.
It's hard to say he is not a top QB. It's all there as far as talent, if he went to a D1 college it would be a no brainier it's just that he played against inferior teams so there is a unknown as far as college film. He did play quite well at senior bowl against top talent. I would say he is not much more of a risk than any of the other besides Luck. Maybe Winston too but I wasn't sold on him. Mariotta has question marks because of the system much more after Kap and RG3 fell flat in their faces after one good season or two. I always though RG3 was a major reach and not really much worse the Wentz if at all.

Maybe you are right but I see this as more a Bridgewater / Gabbert type draft where they could be serviceable but not top notch. But then again who the hell knows. I just hope if flops because that makes things easier for Seattle in the division. :)

Like watching a train wreck...

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...er-trashing-rental-house/?tid=pm_sports_pop_b

"the wayward former Cleveland Browns quarterback is being accused of completely trashing a luxury house rental over a two-day period last week, causing $32,000 in damage.

Manziel and a friend rented the $4.5 million house for two days last week, Page Six reports, but when the real estate broker who negotiated the deal showed up at 2 p.m. one afternoon last week to check on the property, he found Manziel passed out on the couch amid signs of some serious and perhaps troubling merry-making.

“They were supposed to check out at noon. Manziel was passed out,” Nicholas Goodwin told Page Six, also supplying the gossip column with photos of the alleged damage. “There was cocaine all over the kitchen table, and [illegal psychedelic] mushrooms were still out on the table in front of him. There was booze everywhere . . . broken glasses over the floor and a Champagne glass in a tree"

"It’s been an eventful week for Manziel, who was cut earlier this year by the Browns after two mostly terrible seasons. He was the passenger in a car that slammed into a pole on the Sunset Strip on Saturday night, and from the photos TMZ obtained he’s seemingly lucky that he escaped unhurt."

Iggles just got the 2nd pick from the Browns.

"The Browns will get the Eagles' 2016 first-round pick (No. 8 overall) and their third- and fourth-round picks this year. They also get the Eagles' 2017 first-round pick and the Eagles' 2018 second-rounder.

The Eagles will get the Browns' 2016 first-round pick (No. 2 overall) and a conditional fourth-round pick from the Browns in the 2017 draft."

WOW... somebody in Cleveland actually has an IQ now. I think both of these QB's are at best average so to get so much for both #1 and #2 is smart.
