The Panther's got their running game on tonight..too bad it might be too little too late for the playoffs :lecture

Possible. Dallas has Detroit at home, then at Philly. Detroit would have more to play for than Dallas does, and Dallas could possibly rest their starters at Philadelphia. Having said that, two years ago when the Cowboys had the NFC East title locked up as well as a playoff spot, Garrett played Romo and the rest of the starters in a meaningless game at Washington, where the absolutely demolished Washington.

Giants finish on the road, at Philly and at Washington, both winnable games. So it's possible, but everything needs to go their way.

I can't see the Cowboys losing to Philly, especially if they actually drop the game @Detroit.

I can't figure out the Giants. When you watch them they don't seem like a team that will probably finish 12-4, but I think that's pretty likely. Their offense is basically short routes to OBJ and hoping for YAC. Their defense is decent, but it's not like it's as good as the '07 or '11 squads. I can already envision them going for the hat trick against the Pats.:yuck

Yeah don't want to see another Giants vs Pats SB...Eli and Brady for the third time :horse

Please Dallas stay #1 seed

I don't like Detroit's chances ..still think it's going to be them or the Pack in the final game of the season to determine the playoff rankings.

Houston going into the playoffs is absolutely ridiculous..they are going to be so one and done without Watt, could be the worst one and done in a long time.:slap

True..but I have given up on them long ago..they will never let Marvin Lewis go, unless he quits so let the franchise suffer every season :pfft:

Each season will be the same outcome for them until they wake up and give both the GM and Lewis the boot

Like I said..so let them continue to disappoint the Cincy fans. Every season will stay the same..Dalton's time is done, of course no one in the Bengal's organization wants to acknowledge this :slap

Holy :horror

if Giants go 10-5 . What does that mean? I thought the analysts say the Giants control their own playoff destiny :dunno

That means win one game and they are in. If Giants go 10-6 and the Falcons, Packers and Bucs win out and the Lions beat the Cowboys and lose to Green Bay then the Giants are out.

Man, like most of us, I was too busy all day to even watch any games. Just catching up with the news...

-Browns get their first win? Jeez, San Diego...
-Jay Ajayi with ANOTHER 200 yard game? Has any RB had three 200 yard games in the same season?
-Marcus Marriota breaks his leg and the Titans lose any chance (albeit slim) for an AFC South title...

****** football day...

Seattle is in the playoffs but they won't go far. Injuries, in-consistent play, terrible OL have all caught up to them.

Tampa Bay did do better than I thought they would this season but Jameis is still a LONG way from being a franchise QB and they have an OL that might be just as bad as Seattle's. No playoffs for them.

So I guess its time to go to brother in laws house to open presents. :)

Derek Carr broke his leg as well. New England is going to cut through the AFC playoffs like a hot knife through butter. Pittsburgh (if they make it in) and KC will be the only possible challengers.
