Derek Carr broke his leg as well. New England is going to cut through the AFC playoffs like a hot knife through butter. Pittsburgh (if they make it in) and KC will be the only possible challengers.

Devastating news for the Raiders. They are a legit team and losing Carr at this point in time is just awful.

Serious question, Grenouille. As a Pats fan, which team do you fear more during a playoff game at Gillette ("fear" may be too strong of a word...maybe "worry about")?

EDIT: Sorry, I wasn't clear; I was asking about the two AFC North teams that just played. Obviously, Baltimore is out of it, but would you rather the Pats face the Steelers or the Ravens?

Pats and Steelers in the AFC Championsip ..winner will go to the SB, is there any doubt. I like to give KC a nod but not with the game manager and weak offense.

Raiders was my choice to detrone Brady, but without Carr..forget it :slap

If Dallas, Packers, Giants or Seattle doesn't make it to NFC Championship..AFC will probably win the SB

Between the 2 North teams, I'd would have rather faced the Ravens again. While I think the Patriots would handle the Steelers @Gillette, they pose the best chance to come in and win based on their offense. Overall in the AFC before yesterday I would have said the Raiders would have given me the most worries. And maybe this is my younger self still playing with my psyche, but the Dolphins could make noise in these playoffs as long as they don't ask Matt Moore to do too much.

If Miami squeaks in there is your one and done for Houston :rotfl

What a game between the Steelers and the Ravens! Thrilling to the last second. So glad to see the Steelers win the North. If I'm Tomlin...Ben, AB, and Bell don't even see the field next week. Just get everyone ready for the playoffs.

My pick on possibly taking the Pats out of the SB now that Raiders lost Carr :lecture

That was great! One of the most original plays I've seen. Props to Kansas City for using a 360 lb. player to hoop shoot the football for a touch down. :rotfl

Cool play, but completely unnecessary...you're already up big, why give away a trick play? Save it for a tight playoff game.

Imagine if Belichick let McDaniels call that Brady lateral to Edelman then pass to Amendola play in some regular season game that was already decided. Leave some trick plays in your pocket for when you need it. Opponents would have film of that formation/play, and you lose a competitive advantage.

And John Elway has to be thinking about making a move for Romo now...yes, they need better line play on offense and they lost thier #1 RB to injury, but still, Romo can get keep them competitive in the short term as well as mentor Siemian and Paxton Lynch.

Sucks, but at least you made it that far. I was the runner up in my fantasy league three consecutive times...didn't lose any money, but it sucks being so close.

I've been in my league 8 years. I've won 4 times out of 5 - including this year. It's been a great run - it definitely sucks though, making it far and but falling short.
