No. They finish: Lions (this Sun) Bears, Eagles, Cards, Niners. Always an upset possible, but the Bears are the only threat, IMO.

Well you never know with Lions nowadays, Eagles are still alive in the nFC East, Niners could be the trap game .

Bears are given too much credit..I see Mitchell as a game manager when the defense is balling. If the defense is off, he can’t win from behind. He doesn’t have enough experience. That’s not enough to make an impact in the playoffs. I see the Bears one and done wherever they place in the playoffs . There is too much great offenses and decent dominating qbs representing the NFC in the playoffs.

Sorry Chicago not this year..but hope for the future

I don’t follow them..what happened

He roughed up a woman. Reportedly the Chiefs and NFL have sat on it for quite a while, but now the video is being made public. The NFL and their spin doctors on ESPN/Twitter are going and the Chiefs sent him home today. I'm willing to bet the Roger waits to see what the public reaction is and then makes a ruling. They've learnt nothing since Ray Rice.:ohbfrank:

Well, the Chiefs took the lead and cut Hunt. In the press release they say he lied to them about the incident.

Yeah, strength of schedule Saints vs Rams is a joke. They play cupcakes outside of the Bears.
Are you talking about the end of the season yeah maybe. They have played and beat the 2nd best team in conference twice already. They won their tougher games early in the season. Also flying to Detroit and then again to Chicago isn't exactly easy. The Saints have had the advantage of never having to go more than one time zone away.

I would say Hunt gets something hefty. There is video, that is way harder to get past. Plus with video a lot teams may not touch him in fear of the PR nightmare. You can spin allegations that never get a conviction if the player is good enough not sure you can with video.

That's a very talented player they cut. It'll be interesting to see how it will impact their O. I can see why the Chiefs let him go though. With video evidence and proof that he lied, Hunt is probably going to get suspended for at least a year. No point in the Chiefs waiting around for him. They would've had to turn the page and move on with another player anyway and now Hunt is no longer a distraction for the team. I wonder if the Redskins will pick him up off the waiver wire? :lol Maybe Hunt can join Reuben Foster in D.C. after they are both reinstated by the NFL

It'll depend on who their 1st playoff opponent will be. Right now the Vikes and Skins are the wild card teams. Bears have already beaten the Vikes at Soldier Field and they can certainly beat the Skins without Alex Smith at QB. I think they can win their first playoff game. However, that's it. I can't see them beating the Rams or Saints on the road.

Lee is a Will linebacker. He can't play the Sam spot. He'd have to play on the strong side and set an edge against multiple offensive blockers and the tight end. That's a physical position to play for a guy who gets hurt a lot. So, Lee would have to go back to the Will spot and then Vander Esch would have to move to the Sam position to have have Lee, Smith, and Vander Esch on the field. The Will and Sam position are not the same. I don't know if you want to move a rookie into a different position he may not be used to playing. I'll be interested in seeing whatever Dallas decides to do when Lee is healthy again.

That’s exactly what I would do, but I’m not a defensive coach, LOL. Keep Lee as the Will linebacker, Smith at the Mike, and Vander Esch at the Mike. And yes, the Mike entails a lot of more responsibilities (primarily handling a TE) but I remember that the defensive coaches had Damien Wilson learn all three LB positions when they drafted him; I’m not sure if they did the same with Vander Esch, but he was the backup Mike linebacker on the depth chart before being moved into the starting lineup with Sean Lee’s injury.

Maybe I’m oversimplifying it, but I’m just imagining a platoon of speedy linebackers that can cover sideline to sideline. We’ll see what happens come 12/9 against Philadelphia.

So it looks like TMZ blew the whistle on Kareem Hunt, the Chiefs, and the NFL. Let’s sit back and watch what Honest Roger does in this latest case.....

By no means diminishing what Kareem Hunt did, but’s that a huge loss for the Chiefs, particularly in receiving out of the backfield.

Living in the DC area, you can’t imagine the field day the press is having with this. After losing Alex Smith, Washington won’t bring in Colin Kaepernick for a look, but will pick up Foster in the waiver wire...

Yeah, I’m aware of that. Just pointing out the hypocrisy in optics. Picking up someone with multiple arrests for domestic abuse/violence is okay (as long as there is no video) is okay, but Kaepernick is untouchable.

Young talent vs older “talent” who will not be accepted by a large % of fan base.

Love it Bengals losing

Trap game week :slap

Bears, Rams, Panthers ( Eventhough Rams and Panthers winning..grinding it out :lecture)

Bears showing once again overated

I won’t call it a trap game for Rams. It’s a East Coast game. It’s a big factor. So big they have tried to make a rule about it.

That’s no excuse..Rams were in ST. Louis for many years , played as St. Louis Rams vs Lions many times

Packers shouldn’t be playing sloppy against Arizona in Lambeau? :thud:

Sometimes I am amazed at some of the things you come up with. :slapWest coast teams on the east coast don’t do well. The records don’t lie. Only ONE west coast team had a winning record at 1pm games. That stat is pretty much the same almost every year too.
