Moving on from MCCarthy is long overdue. However, how much of Packers problems stem from Rodgers himself? People still talk about him as if he’s still the guy from ‘10-‘14. Don’t get me wrong he’s still great, but he might be past his prime years.
GB wouldn’t be contenders at all season after season if it weren’t for Rodgers. He hasn’t played his best in past few years because he doesn’t have enough support
But he’s only one man.., he needs a coach that will give him more weapons , starting with protection and on the other end a defense that can try to win games so he doesn’t have too, this is fault by paying Clay too much, that they have no resources to get more better defensive players
In other words with McCarthy axed, GB needs to completely clean house in the off season with exceptions of keeping Rodgers, Adams and Cobb. Other than that it’s time to restructure the team
