Actually, as a hardcore Vikings fan, I'm already resigned to the fact of losing before the Super Bowl. It's an inbred quality of true Vikings fans.

'98 was a heartbreaker. I was pulling for them since Cunningham was their QB. 2000 was just embarrassing.

The sad thing is, is that I'm serious. Why risk a star player getting hurt? Not to mention give some of the younger guys a chance to play and see what they have in the tank.

Philadelphia made the playoffs last year because the Raiders beat the Bucs the last week of the season and Philly made a nice run. Without that big upset, they would never have got the chance. There's always a chance.

I agree with you on the Eagles. They are gonna be upsetting some folks in the playoffs. My dream scenario for Saturday's game:

Jason Garrett gets tricky with the playcalling. Cowboys line up in the wildcat with Romo split out wide. They fake the reverse hand off to Williams on the sweep. Williams stops and fires one deep over the middle to Romo who has to overextend for the poorly thrown ball and meets Darren Sharper in a collision that will be talked about for the ages. Now that Romo can no longer put together full sentences, Kitna comes in and the Cowboys win their remaining games.

Any chance of this happening?

There is no bitterness or jealously here. I just hate the Vikings...and I just hate Favre. This season, I really could careless if the Packers make it or not, I just don't want the Vikings to win a super bowl...actually I don't give a ???? if the Vikings win a super bowel since they are a decent team, I just don't want that goon Favre to win one.

It is like this...I am sure the many many years he was on our team you hated him, bears fans hated...guess what? He isn't on our team so now I hate him..pretty simple.

Really guy? I am perfectly calm. It is called a RIVALRY, it is common sense that you dislike the guy now. Think of it this way...you are married and your wife cheats on you? You gonna still like her? No of course not...unless you are a pansy.

I am a huge Eagles fan but big players that play for them I will support. Reggie when he went to GB, Randal when he went to the Vikes, and now Dawkins in Denver. ???? the teams but they played or play for, but I want them to succeed.

Yea except when the player is a whinny little baby, I have no problem not supporting them. Favre is a prima madonna who needs to grow up. Not sure how anyone CANNOT see that.
