I was hoping that the Steelers would have a turn-around this week. But with Kemoeatu out as well as Polamalu. Foster did pretty well against the Ravens a few weeks ago. He should do well enough. I certainly hope they get past the struggles they have been having this season.

I am also wondering what the game time was before the flex change. It would hurt to find that they got flexed OUT of a national game.

As much as I want to see the Packers get crushed by your Steelers, it's going to be a tall order. The Pack is really playing well now.

I don't think there was a flex change? NBC had always scheduled the Vikes/Panthers from day one. Am I wrong here?

I will only address the drivel so far as to say that saying they are done or saying they will turn around and win the Superbowl is all just hot air until one or the other comes to pass. I am not stupid. I fully understand their situation. But until they are actually eliminated, there is still hope.

This is the NFL...much stranger stuff has happened.

Oh nonsense. Even the players know they are finished. LOL!

Mind you this is if the Steelers win out (which no way they win out).

If Jax loses to Indy& NE they are 8-8
If Bal can lose to chi and oak they are 8-8
if mia loses to tenn houston and pitt they are 7-9

You lucky bastard! Yes SIR, one atractive woman especially in that tight spandex.:D They used to have Star Trek conventions all the time in Minneapolis but haven't seen one recently. The 90s were a great time for Trek fans with Generation, DS9 and Voyager. Never really liked Enterprise. Jeri Ryan seems like a really cool chick in person too. She married a chef and opened up a restaurant in LA. Yup, she had a kid and she had one from her previous marriage. The Trek convention to go to is the annual one in Vegas. They have the Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. Gotta go sometime.

Sadly, the Hilton closed down the "Star Trek Experience" there at their hotel in Las Vegas. I got to go to it in 2002 when we went to Vegas. It was incredible! They had a mock-up set of the full bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D! :monkey5 It was part of an interactive tour/ride there. Very cool! Yeah, the 1990s were a great time for Star Trek, and the fans. Now, with the new J.J. Abrams "reboot" movie, I think that there are good times ahead again. The movie did great business, and old die-hard fans like me enjoyed it too. At least 2 movies are already on the way.

I'll try and post the autographed picture of Jeri Ryan...if you want to see it here. Let me know.

Sorry to take this off-topic guys.

GO SAINTS! Scalp those dastardly "cowboys" this Saturday night! :D

Chris Henry fighting for his life, currently on life support after falling out of the back of a moving pickup truck in a fight with his fiance. Sad news. Wish him well.

Man, really sad to here this. I had no idea that this closed some time ago. I wish I had gone sooner to feel the whole experience. It's too bad the new Trek movie opened after the closing. Perhaps it might have saved it.

I really miss a weekly Trek show not being on TV anymore.

Feel free to post that Jeri Ryan photo here. It's not like lots of folks post on this thread anyways.

Okay, so this is a bit late but who cares.:D

Bengals 10
Vikings 30

A solid bounce back game against a good opponent leading their division. Nice to see the Arizona debacle was an aberration.

~Antoine Winfield is the hardest hitting cornerback in the NFL! He's a real difference maker when it comes to run support also. Getting him back will be a huge deal for the playoff push.

AZ 9
SF 24

Geez! What happened here? Five turnovers in the first half and seven overall! It's like I've said before, "Depends which Arizona team will show up?" Hard to believe this was the same Cardinal team that gave my Vikings a Beat Down in the previous week.

Tonight's Game

IND
JAX

Very interesting game. Will the Colts remain unbeaten against a desperate Jacksonville team in the wildcard hunt?

~Special note: Watch out for the Philadelphia Eagles. This is the team to watch in the playoffs. I don't want my Vikes to play that dangerous team. They beat us last year in the playoffs. Andy Reid is in Brad Childress' head. He taught him everything he knows.

I agree with you on the Eagles. They are gonna be upsetting some folks in the playoffs. My dream scenario for Saturday's game:

Jason Garrett gets tricky with the playcalling. Cowboys line up in the wildcat with Romo split out wide. They fake the reverse hand off to Williams on the sweep. Williams stops and fires one deep over the middle to Romo who has to overextend for the poorly thrown ball and meets Darren Sharper in a collision that will be talked about for the ages. Now that Romo can no longer put together full sentences, Kitna comes in and the Cowboys win their remaining games.

Any chance of this happening?

LOL!:lol.......Perhaps an angry Cowboys fan? No need to worry friend. After Dallas misses the playoffs, changes will be made in the coaching staff.

My dream scenario: Vikes win last three and the Saints lose last 2 of 3. Vikes then get #1 seed in the playoffs.:D

Vikes Pack could for sure happen. (Or AZ Again)

I'm not really worried about NO locking up home field if they do. (they need to play some hard teams they could get booted first round, and even if the Vikes have to go there...1. we play on turf 2. It's not like were not used to loud dome crowds. Yes it would be loud against us but 3. Favre has seen it all)

Exciting times coming up! ( i gotta say for the NFC if the Vikes don't get to the SB, i hope the Saints do!)
