NFL Sunday Boyzzz!

Games of the day:

PIT
MIA

BAL
OAK *

PHI
DAL

Loser Games:

Too numerous to mention.:lol

* Normally I wouldn't include any game with Oakland as a game of the day. However, for Baltimore, a win and you're in. This has upset special written all over it.

~For the Steelers this an upset special. I think Miami will win it.

~Philly at Dallas. This is the big one boys. I think Dallas is playing too well right now to lose to the Eagles.

*****Really want the Eagles to lose and of course the Vikes will beat the Giants and get the #2 seed*****

Prediction:

NYG 17
MIN 34

Will be an easy game for my Vikes, no problem. The giants have quit, have nothing to play for and have to many injuries to be of any threat. The waiting game is on for the DAL/PHI game which is the late start.

~I'll have a f'n board meltdown if the Vikes lose.

Well Tampa lost their last 4 game last year so lets see if they can win their last 3 this season. I don't care about the draft pick right now... I want a W.

Here we go! Today is my superbowl. Eagles must win this game! I don't care if they win and lose in the Superbowl. Beating these ????ing crusty ass ????ty ass dumb ass Dallas Cowgirls is the most important thing in this world today! FECK YOU DALLAS!

You don't get it, do you!:banghead
:lol

Maybe not. But to my initial point--without Peterson in the backfield, no way Favre would have had the season that he had. I'm not saying he's not a very good QB, but I think his stats this year have to be understood in the context of having, going into the season, the most feared running back in the NFL. Coincidence that one of his all time best seasons happens when he has the best running back on his team that, by his own admission, he's ever played with?

Peterson is amongst the most fumble prone running backs in the NFL, however, and so that could throw a kink into things if defenses really start factoring that into their gameplan--don't worry so much about tackling (since it's so hard to do anyway), just pop the ball out of "butterfingers" Peterson's hands.

--edit: Peterson is the most fumble prone running back in the NFL, with 6, based on the list on NFL.com (which does not include all running backs, but seems to include most important ones). He is only behind QBs Cassel and Young in total fumbles.--

FECK YOU DALLAS!
I'm kind of conflicted on this one. I hate Dallas of course, but am tired of hearing all the people who jumped on the Eagles bandwagon over the last couple weeks going on about how they're the team to beat. If Dallas wins today, that will shut most of those people up. So, that is something I would like to see. On the other hand, an overconfident team buying into the hype will likely be easier to beat in the playoffs. So. . .I don't know how I rationally should hope this one should pan out. I'll probably end up rooting for the team the announcers don't seem to be pulling for :lol

Considering it's going to be Aikman and Joe Buck, you should be rooting for the Eagles.:lol The funny part is, I think Aikman is less in love with the Cowboys than Joe Buck is. I honestly think Joe Buck wishes Tony Romo and Jason Witten would adopt him.

The Giants have nothing to play for when they meet the Vikes next week.:D

Which makes them all the more dangerous. Don't think they won't come out and look to beat the snot out of the Vikes. Be careful what you wish for. :lecture

LMAO!!!:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

NYG 0
MIN 31 Halftime

Dear Keith,

"Be careful what you wish for."

Sincerely,

Brett Favre

Seriously though, it only takes a game or two to change these peoples' opinions. If the Eagles lay an egg today, people will jumping ship left and right. A bit unfair perhaps, but that's the way it is.
