Wow ... those teams were both just terrible. That game made me feel a lot better about Pittsburgh's 4 game stretch without Ben, seeing as how they play Baltimore in week 4. 3-1 is looking like a definite possibility now:yess::yess::yess:
I dont know, you scored 15 points on an Atlanta D thats nothing like the Ravens D and the Ravens scored 10 against whats considered the best D in the league :dunno

With the Ravens D and a few less dumb mistakes they look like they can do something but the Jets yeah not so much unless there D can outscore the other team.

Out of the two the Ravens definitely scare me more because of their D. Their offense looked atrocious tonight though. Their backs were running backwards for some reason, it seemed like all of Flacco's throws came off his back foot, and the special teams were nothing special.

The point in the game that baffled me was when they were against the goal line and they repeatedly ran it. They could have tried throwing it if they were just going to play for the punt. Hell, they could have sent it Cromartie's way since he was happy to give 1st downs on penalties all night.

I dont know I would run and would kick and play D if I was the ravens in that spot, the Jets had what 3 or 4 first downs at that point.

Yeah, you're right. I mean, it's not like Bruce arians has faced them 2 times a season for some years now and would know how to game plan for them. That D was better last season in Dixon's first ever start, and except for a bad mistake in OT he played well against them. Next time it will be at Pittsburgh and he will have 3 starts this season under his belt, and the way the D played it is perfectly plausible for them to be 2-1 or even 3-0. So stop thinking as a hater and try to use your head next time:slap

You do realize that when backed against the goal line the distance between the snapper and punter is shorter and the chances of a blocked punt, or even a snap over the punters head, is a great possibility. Field poisition is key at that point.

I used my head, maybe you should try to. Sorry the steelers looked garbage on O and got saved by one big play.

Your playing a team that wants to blitz and your trowing from your endzone you you have just as good of a chance to get a safety throwing as kicking, actually probably higher chance.

Patriots Mid-West looks like they'll be a fun team this year. They could be a darkhorse to win the AFC West.

RAC has the defense looking good, wish he would have come back.:monkey2

Ohhhh, sounds like someone's team got their @$$es kicked so they have to take stabs at others teams. I'm sorry, the Steelers O minus Ben looked like "garbage" and they beat a play-off caliber team. My bad:thud:

Uhhhh, yeah, but taking "a" shot at picking up some yardage on a pass is better than running against 9 in the box, or QB sneaking and possibly hurting your starting QB needlessly. Again, use your head man!!!

Nope but they are playing like garbage now, but even then I call it like i see it. If you are ok with scoring 9 points before overtime and winning in OT so be it, but what would i expect from a Steelers fan talking about his team.

Ok, sorry the Steelers beat the Chargers to go on to win the Super Bowl in 08. My bad. And as far as your stab at a Steelers fan talking about his team, when the Steelers have been to 7 SBs and won 6 of them, and the Bolts have been to 1 and got completely smeared in it, well that just sounds like jealously. But hey, I can forgive you for the Chargers beating my Steelers to go get embarrased in that SB in the 94 season, so I'm sure you can let by-gones be by-gones as well. Let's just hug and start over, alright?:lol
