Okay here is the deal and cut and dry. I keep it real so here goes it. You are talking about a different class of people and fans. Bottom line. Any city that has a ____ty team and low ticket prices is going to bring in the riff raff at one point or the other.

As an Eagles fan I don't condone that behavior and nor does the organization. The fact is times have changed.

The media unfortunately NEEDS something to report on. So the general public believes it. Just like they believe many things in politics. Because they are too stupid to think for themselves and form an actually legitimate opinion behind their statements.

Back then the Eagles were horrible. So naturally ticket prices were low and allowed the lower class to buy tickets. So what you have is a lower class people entering and arena and allowing them to show what low class is all about. It could happen anywhere. You can see it now in certain cities.

Fast forward to today. Eagles ticket prices are right at the top. If you want decent seats you can easily spend over $300 a ticket. A TICKET! I am a middle class person and consider myself a decent fan. I cant even afford that unless I REALLY want to treat myself. So I am even priced out.

So these old arguments about Philly fans IMO comes down to class. Philly fans are just as classy as the next. You will find incidents in any major NFL stadium. That's a fact. Philly fans get a bad rap because of some dumb ____ that a bunch of poor losers did decades ago.

So enough of it! It's lame and unintelligent to sit there and talk of a fan base based off of a bunch of poor people and their actions over 10 to 15 years ago.

What a wacky league. The Giants stepped it up, Colts lose to Jacksonville? LOL! I can honestly say as a fan this year I have no idea what any team has. :lol

I was thinking the same thing. Before tonight, every other analyst seemed to have the Bears in the Super Bowl, or at least deep into the playoffs. Now? And I mostly blame the Bears O-line/Cutler's bad decision-making/Martz's foolish play calling for this game's outcome. Giants deserve some credit of course, but damn. I expected they would start playing this way at some point in the season, but they were looking so good over the last couple of weeks.

Colts having lost 2 games so far is a shocker to me. The only remaining undefeated team is, I think, the Chiefs. What is this, Bizarro World?

And Flosi, damn. That really sucks (sucks for me, too, since they lost to our divisional rivals). Your team is so close to having 2 wins, but then, that's the NFL for you.

My guess is that the Chiefs will be like last years Broncos. This year definitely seems crazy. I haven't really seen a standout team. The defending champs could just as easily be 0-4 as they are 3-1. The Patriots looked amazing for a very brief period. The Jets I'm still not sold on. The Ravens have the D but Flacco is just not consistent yet. San Diego is a mess. Green Bay just aren't as good as the analyst would have you believe. The 49ers, what happened? The Falcons are still too Jekyll and Hyde. The Cincy experiment seems to be falling apart because of Palmer. Indy with 2 losses already. Pittsburgh with 1 loss without Ben is surprising. New look Philly and Washington just dosn't feel right yet. The Giants...crap. The Bears...true colors coming out. Minnesota might peak at the right time if they can survive until they get healthy in the 2nd half of the season. The Broncos and Dolphins...I'm not a believer. Maybe this could be the year a Texas team plays in the superbowl... The Texans? Dallas seems to be the same old, same old. Jags, Browns, Raiders, Panthers, Seahawks, Rams, Titans, Lions, Bills, Cardinals, see you at the draft.

Jets, Steelers, and Ravens seem like the most "solid" teams so far IMO, and none of them look really dominant while each has some flaws they need to address. In the NFC, I feel Green Bay is pretty good, but like Wofford says, the hype is a bit over-blown IMO. Apart from that, I have no idea. The Saints have had moments of brilliance, but Payton reverting to form from 2-3 years ago is worrisome, as are the injuries and lack of turnovers. Falcons look pretty good, but they feel like a team that maybe gets to the 2nd round of the playoffs right now (I feel the Saints are the same way).

I don't think we'll have any idea until week 10 or 11, and even then, we'll have the typical teams that burn out and surprise going into the end of the season and the playoffs of course.

If someone held a gun to me and made me pick a team right now I'd go with Pittsburgh. To get Ben back with only one loss and a schedule that's only got 4 more games against legit contenders puts them in great shape.

True. But from what I've seen thus far, I think the Saints, Patriots, Ravens, and Jets should be in the mix at years end and it would surprise me if more than one other team on their schedule ends up more than one game over 500.

Curious to see how the Vikes do AT the Jets next Monday night. Not worried about Vikes D, they've been playing outstanding. If Vikes can hold on till their offense gets going and Rice gets back they'll be real good. Big IF right now though. (brutal schedule)

I would have to agree.
