If someone held a gun to me and made me pick a team right now I'd go with Pittsburgh. To get Ben back with only one loss and a schedule that's only got 4 more games against legit contenders puts them in great shape.

I'd say good posting, but Pittsburgh always finds a way to lose 1 or 2 games that they should dominate. Like how Ben has never beat the Raiders :dunno However, I can still see them doing 10 wins or better.

Vick has cartilage injuries but no breaks. McCoy has 1 broken rib. Asante Samuel is the most baffling. He has a concusion. I thought you actually had to MAKE contact with another player to get one of those? :dunno :rotfl

That guy is one of the biggest ******* in the league. His tackling is beyond horrid.

Maybe he fell down and hit his head:lol

It must have happened when his head hit that guy in the knee. As you said, no way it was from hard tackling.:lol:lol:lol

I have no confidence in the secondary for tonight's game.

I'm thinking Henne lights them up for 500.:monkey2

He gets another chance this year.

But the 2 times he has faced them before they were clearly the better team, but through some bad coaching calls and poor decision making on Ben's part, they found a way to lose. It's just one of those games on the schedule where ya say "they should win that game, but I'm still worried".

Jets, Steelers, and Ravens seem like the most "solid" teams so far IMO, and none of them look really dominant while each has some flaws they need to address. In the NFC, I feel Green Bay is pretty good, but like Wofford says, the hype is a bit over-blown IMO. Apart from that, I have no idea. The Saints have had moments of brilliance, but Payton reverting to form from 2-3 years ago is worrisome, as are the injuries and lack of turnovers. Falcons look pretty good, but they feel like a team that maybe gets to the 2nd round of the playoffs right now (I feel the Saints are the same way).

I don't think we'll have any idea until week 10 or 11, and even then, we'll have the typical teams that burn out and surprise going into the end of the season and the playoffs of course.

No way the Raven's Barely beat the browns, and the Steelers...

I hate _____sburgh and Baltiwhore more than any teams in the NFL though, so they can all die and go to hell.

It's one of those games that I love seeing on the schedule for Survivor Leagues.:panic:

With the upsets so far this season that survivor league is probably damn near dead. This season has just been crazy so far. Probably end up having KC and Detroit in the Super Bowl :gah:

WHats wrong with the Pats man? I have tickets for the Nov 21st game, and they might me out of the playoffs by then :(

Mostly the defense being a mess. The defensive backs so far have been terrible covering anyone. Added to that is the frustrating zone that they run giving what seems like a 10 yard cushion on every play.

There's no pass rush, so opposing QBs have had all day in the pocket.

The D-Line has been pretty pedestrian so far. Teams can run to the other side of wherever Vince Wilfork is, especially with Ty Warren out for the year.

This team reminds me in some ways of the Colts early last decade. Great offense, terrible defense.

Started with 98...44 still standing.

Not too bad with the way some games have come out. Hell, I woulda thought last night would have been a good time to pick Indy with the way Jacksonville has been playing, but who woulda knew :dunno

Okay...guess I should be so pessimistic every week.

Patrick Chung finally showing that promise he had after being drafted.

Rob Ninkovich pretending to be Tedy Bruschi with 2 picks and a sack. Just strange.

I feel better going into the bye week now. The next stretch is going to be tough with Baltimore, San Diego, and Minnesota.

Whoa my fins fell hard, there was no line at all. Pats got through so much it was stupid. So many open holes, blocked kicks, sacks, forced interceptions...they looked really bad, and the Pats looked great.

Not a very good Monday night game, 3/4 of the stadium was empty by 4th quarter.

I think I witnessed something tonight that may be a first in the modern era of the NFL. It may be a first for professional football period. A white running back, and two white wide recievers all on the field at the same time who are all 5'10'' or smaller and all weigh under 200 lbs. Hell I haven't seen that since I played high school football.

:rotfl Someone on a Pats board mentioned that fact. It almost was like watching clips from that AFL documentary from last year.
