Buffalo fans are never happy with their QBs. I live in the NY area and all I heard during the Kelly years was they needed to bench him for Frank Reich.

Good to see the Raider team I have known and loved for the past 9 years:mad:. Now we get the Jets and Pats:(.

Ya know I have had the NFL ticket since 1995 and I just don't know how much longer I can keep watching these guys blow it year after year. At least I got some good games during the Gannon years.

But year after year of waiting for them to turn it around :gah::gah:

I fear that nothing will change unless Al sells the team or dies.

Um, where you not around during Doug Flutie's era in Buffalo, the town worshipped him, Flute Flakes does that ring a bell :thud:

Btw Seattle Sucks! Caroll you should know by now that the QB wins games, why didn't you keep Matt Hassleback, all you had to do was restructure the offensive line and defense around him. :lecture

Now you're going to be the worst team in the league! :slap

I call BS. I lived in N.Y. during those years as well, and even spent a few years in Rochester. The town was in love with Kelly. Were there some doubters because of Kelly's inability to produce in the playoffs?

Sure. There ALWAYS are.

But there is a reason why Kelly continues to call Buffalo his home. He's well-liked by the community. Loved, even.

Most people supported him, just like most people support Fitz.

Flutie was loved as well, which is why fans were calling for heads to roll when Rob Johnson was started in place of him.

I am not saying that Kelly was hated by all but there should have been no call for Frank Reich and there was. Jim took them to 4 Super Bowls and yet there was talk from many about who should be QB. Not so much from the first 2 Super Bowls but the next 2. Now an argument could have been made that Kelly was banged up for the first match vs Dallas and reich did get them through the playoffs but It's Jim Kelly! You don't take the team away from him.

And Fitzpatrick is starting to make a name for himself and put together some good numbers and yet some (not all) Bill's fans are calling for a new QB.

You're going to find that on just about ANY team in the NFL.

"Some" Steeler fans want Rothlisberger gone.

"Some" Falcons fans want Ryan gone.

"Some" Eagles fans want Vick gone.

"Some Jets fans want Sanchez gone.

Etc. etc. etc. The most popular quarterback is always the one on the bench. The second most popular quarterback...is Andrew Luck. lol

I get what you're saying, but I'd still place those Bills fans that want Fitz gone in the minority.

Probably the SAME Bills fans that wanted Losman, and then Edwards, etc.

They're idiots.
