That was pathetic! so many injuries to the gmen and it only took three key players to beat the entire Rams team, they being Manning who sucked tonight, Jacobs and Tuck for defense.

That team has gone down hill since Mike Marks left! :gah:

But no Warner, Faulk, and Holt, yeah I know it's been a long time since those guys, but man I miss " The Greatest Show On Turf " :slap

Couple injuries looming large in NFC East match ups next week. Vick will be out against the Giants unless he passes the league mandated concussion test, and it turns out that Romo's fractured rib included a collapsed lung.

That game was brutal to watch...Sunday night game is Colts vs Steelers. Bet NBC wishes they had the Flex this early.lol

I'm sure when the NFL made the Sunday night football schedule, they had no idea that Peyton was really hurt and needed surgery :monkey2

Anybody getting tired of the Romo news! Yes, it was gutsy to come back in after the ribs and win, but you're forgetting it was against the 9ers, if he got injured and went back in with against the Bears, Packers, Raiders, Ravens or steelers,Eagles even the giants depleted defense not only would he
Get stuffed again, he's out on a stretcher. I can't believe the analysts are so excited he won the game, again it was the niners Defense :slap

Let's see him do that to the Pack, then I'll be impressed.

Puntured lung, not collapsed lung. I seriously don't think he would have been back out there with a collapsed lung.:lol

According to Total Access on the NFL network, they said collapsed lung (after the severity of the injury was initially announced). Current reports say punctured lung. Just reporting what I heard at the time. :dunno

LOL

That guy was so hilarious to watch coach. I saw a live game many moons ago where the Rams were playing the Saints, and on the first play a guy ran for 4 yards or something, and Martz through a challenge flag because he thought it should have been a 5 yard gain, and he lost the challenge :lol But in general, he's just an insane offensive play-caller and looks like a duck out of water as a coach. He was sitting in the booth during the Saints game Sunday, and I think he fits better there than on the field.

Dunce Robinson fined $40k for the hit on Maclin. What really pisses me off is Steve Martin after the game saying how it was a clean hit. Go bang your head against the bus instead of in it next time ____ hole.

The clown should have been fined $100K just like the Steelers Harrison for being a repeat offender.

agreed hopefully he doesnt talk it down this time as well, last time he only ended up paying 25k.... thats prolly a night on the town for him

Equally Jenkins should be fined as well.

This league needs to work on consistancy. Vick even had a couple of questionable low hits that if were Brady would have been 15. I don't care who the players are. If you want to enforce rules enforce them the same way for every player.

They have no consistency. Even the "always protected" Saint Brady was hit low Sunday and there was no flag. How such an injustice could happen I don't know.

Sometimes players can say hello to Brady and get fined. They just aren't worthy. :bow :rotfl

I farted on the same plane as Brady once and was thrown out on to the runway. :lecture

That was a scary hit. It was the same type that blew out Brady's knee couple years ago.

A lot of people forget that the Vikings are similar to the Bills in that respect.

I think the Eagles have a similar record, no?

The Vikings have lost 4 Super Bowls and 5 NFC Championship games. Who can ever forget the loss to the Falcons in 98 (OT) and the Saints in 09 (OT). :monkey2

The Eagles lost 2 Super Bowls and 4 NFC championship games.

Yes the Bills/Vikings are similar but the Vikes lost 3 Bowls in 4 years and we know what the Bills did. :lol

Believe me, it was a tense few seconds there. The replays showed his foot being off the ground which probably saved him on that one.

Yeah, the only replay I saw I was thinking, "that looks like an awkward position.......it ain't supposed to bend like that." Yikes, he was lucky to get away with a non-injury. :panic:
