It's been awhile since I've seen Brees play this poorly. Lucky for them Morris is making some dumbass decisions to keep enough time on the clock.

Yeah, it was a rough loss for us Saints fans! The Saints were mostly predicted to win. Four turnovers, and three of them interceptions by Drew. It was a very disappointing loss! Top that off with our coach being injured on the sideline! Coach Sean Payton will have surgery on his left leg tomorrow. He suffered a MCL tear & tibial plateau fracture. I hope he recovers soon.

"On the next" Saints. Get ready to play the Colts at home in the newly named "Mercedes-Benz Superdome" next week. The Saints "should" beat the lowly Colts. I haven't lost faith in my Saints. I never will. It's just always tough when your team loses. Especially after they've won the last 4 games in a row. Now the Saints are tied with the Bucs in the N.F.C. South at 4-2.

You know how insanely popular the NFL is? A 2-3 team facing a 1-4 team is going to be the best rated TV event of the week.:lol

Is there really a reason why the Vikings haven't gone to Ponder yet? They're going nowhere with McNabb anyway.

Saints game was hard to watch, but I don't put too much of the blame on Brees. He was a bit off (due to the pressure of the Bucs D and inability of the Saints to run the ball, making them one-dimensional), but if guys would catch the balls instead of batting them into the air or just dropping them, they wouldn't have had to punt so much. Regarding the INTs, the one in the end zone was completely his fault, another one wasn't the best decision but was catchable by the receiver, and the 3rd was a good throw that got batted into a defender's hands. I think the WRs in general (barring Lance Moore) have been under-utilized this year in lieu of Sproles and Graham. And in general it has worked out, but Colston and Meachem look like different players from what they were a couple years ago. Colston seems to drop as many catches as he makes, sadly.

The main problem, as last week, was crap defense for the bulk of the game. The Saints shouldn't need to score 30+ every game to win. Saints fans will always be grateful for what Greg Williams was able to do a couple of years ago, but I think it's time to move on.

I think my team is pretty decent this year.

that was bush league with the 49ers coach did slapping the Tigers coach in the back yesterday. what lack of class and professional to do that and you won the game.

That was pretty damn funny how he smacked the Lions coach that way. Maybe not the best display of sportsmanship, but whatever he's doing is working for the 49ers. And for the most part, I guess that's what he should care about.

*gets on high horse* having said that, with sports in general, I do worry about what a thing like that does in terms of sending a message to kids.

Wrong Detroit sports team. :lol

Yeah, when I first saw it, I thought Schwartz overreacted, then I watched it a few times more times, and Harbuagh really instigated everything. Harbaugh shook Schwatz's hand a little too hard, and then had that back slap. Pretty sure Schwartz said "What the F" to Harbaugh after that, to which Harbaugh allegedly responded with an explative. :dunno

Also, prior to the handshake, did you see Harbaugh pull up his shirt to expose his chest / belly? What was that all about?

rooting hard for the Dolphins tonight because the Jets talked too much wind and to see them sliding now both in the locker room and games is satisfying, pretty boy Sanchez and that oompa loompa Rex Ryan.

Whatever... Watch what Schwartz's sideline antics in the previous weeks and then get back to me... I'm sure there are more than a few Cowboys fans who could vouch for me on this. It was more a matter of two coaches with similar dispositions crossing paths than anything else.

And though it's been stated a few times, it's the Detroit LIONS, Quiggle.

Oh, I agree that Schwartz had a hand in it too. In regards to a point you brought up, I found the fact that he screamed an obscenity and taunted Dez Bryant in regards to a catch that was overruled by replay unprofessional. Talk to the players on your team, not others.

I like that the Lions are coming back and think Schwartz is going a nice job with them. However, he goes over the top for what a coach should do and this was it getting pushed back in his face a bit.
