Garrard told the Raiders he is having back surgery and unavailable.

The search continues....but Campbell said today he'll be back in 6 weeks. That's a tad bit optimistic to me considering he broke his clavicle in his throwing arm.

Whats funny how often they say 6 weeks for clavicle, even with surgery thats risky. 8 weeks seems realistic for quick return.

On and I have broken mine 3 times so this comes from experience.

Last night's game. . .man, that was hard to watch. I did enjoy the kick return by Hester, though. He really is phenomenal.

It's been described here locally as one of the biggest embarrassments in Vikings history along with the 41-0 demolition at the hands of the New York Giants in the 2000 NFC Championship game.

The second-rounder left in a draft weekend trade with the New England Patriots, the fourth-rounder was for Jason Campbell(notes), and the seventh-rounder was for former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Aaron Curry(notes). Add in the third-rounder sacrificed for Pryor, and the Raiders might as well go fishing next April.
