Chicago.......30
Philadelphia..24

I have to admit, I didn't see this score coming.

Just didn't think the Eagles would be 3-5 at the half way point. Still 8 games to go though for a playoff push.

I just hated seeing Babin getting that BS roughing the passer call after holding them on 3rd and goal, giving Chicago 1st and goal at the 2 that resulted in a TD. I just get sick watching some games because the officiating helps teams score when they shouldn't be! These rule changes since Goodell took over are getting lamer every season.

Freaking walking in the house after taking my daughter to school this morning and a bird crapped on my Steelers hat!! I know it was a raven, and since I didn't see a yellow flag I can only assume it was Ray Lewis getting away with yet another illegal blow to the head! He better get fined for this one!!!

Yep, that call was highly suspect.

The two rules that are ruining the game are...

1. The over protection of QBs.

2. The illegal chuck rule for touching receivers beyond 5 yards.

I'm still laughing at that. I live in the DC Metro area, and VASith can attest, the optimism surrounding the Redskins every year is ridiculous.

I still remember co-workers leaving work early because they wanted to watch the Haynesworth press confeence after he was signed. :slap

Funny, they mentioned that exact statement on PTI-Espn yesterday. :lol

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Redskins will never win a Super Bowl with Daniel Snyder as owner.

I agree.

I'll take it a step further. Change the team name.

And for those that argue that the name Redskins is integral to a tradition and history of winning, the 'Skins haven't won a damn thing since their last Super Bowl vicotry inn1992.

Thank goodness he didn't sign in Tampa.

Of course the illegal contact rule was in the best interest of the league or more specifically the Colts so Mr. Competition Committee Bill Polian had it put through. I agree with the QB protection even though the QB of my favorite team is often the beneficiary of said rule.

I do hate the pass interference rule. It encourages teams to throw it deep and hope for contact. For once the NCAA has the rule correct.

1. They stiffened the rules (illegal contact) after that playoff game between the Colts and Pats some years ago.

2. Seems like every year the target gets smaller and smaller on where you can hit the QB.

Amen! And I hate it when we hear crap like Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees are the greatest of all time- their numbers prove it. BS! Take them back in time and let them play in the '60s-'70s and let's see them put those numbers up, let alone remain upright! That's when QBs weren't such pansies. Take for instance Cutler after that Babin hit. The way he laid on the ground looking defeated. Drop the act dude, your crying ass got the damn flag! The League wants those huge passing numbers to keep games "exciting" and draw in more bandwagon jumper fans to up the ratings.

And don't laugh! A bird seriously did crap on my Steelers hat! And I think it was wearing a black and white striped shirt. Vertical stripes. Not a jail bird.

1. It seems like 80% of the time when there's an incompletion, most of the players and the fans in the stadium look towards the referees for a pass interference flag.

2. Sorry bro, the hat crapping incident made me chuckle hard. I know it's juvenile. :lol

Ah yes, you just described one of the bread and butter plays of 2003-2010 Colts.:lol

PI would be some much easier to take if they took on the NCAA ruling for the penalty.
