Two completed passes by tebow and they win..... not sure what to think about that... i guess they found a way to win thats what matters but you are going to have to get a early lead with that play style for sure.
But I think he only threw 8 times. And he scored 2 TDs (one a rush, one a looong pass).

Not a traditional QB by any means, but he knows how to win, and the Broncos are better with him than with Orton IMO. I think other teams might figure him out at some point--if you can shut down the Broncos' rushing attack, then they don't have much of a chance--but I think it's kind of cool to see something different in the NFL like this every once in awhile. Having said that, I'm glad he's not the QB of my team :lol

i think Tebow has scored one rushing TD and one passing TD in all games he started. a couple passes he threw the receiver dropped the pass so not all his fault but he defenses cant stop the rushing attack why throw the ball? when everybody in the stadium knows the broncos are going to run the ball, why cant defenses stop them? when he needs to complete a pass he does it example the 56 yard pass to Decker for the TD yesterday. granted people say this kind of offense will only work against bad teams but lets see how they do against the Jets this thursday.

oh and it seems like the whole team plays better with Tebow as a starter.

Ok I was not watching game but heard it on radio, what was the deal with the reversed Pats when the receiver went out of bounds first , did they really call the penalty based on the replay?

yah I just saw that and what unclass, your getting beat to a pulp then score a touchdown and run across the end of the field to give her the football and she works for the opposition. if you want attention playing in Buffalo the middle of nowhere wont get it for you.

Gronkowski was pushed OOB, and was the first player to touch the ball after coming back in. Since the TD was being reviewed the penalty was accessed.

After seeing the game last night, I'm not sure I would consider the Jets a good team exactly. They do have a winning record, though.

you might be right but they are a playoff team and for a team that hasnt made the playoffs in a bit it will be good measuring stick for where the broncos are. hopefully broncos beat them to be a .500 team and still be one game behind raiders for the division since the raiders shouldnt lose to the vikings

Thats what I thought happened but I didn't know you can call a penalty based on what they see in a review. I can see overturning the play but to retroactively call a penalty seems odd. If thats the case they coaches should be able to call for a review of any time they think a penalty should have been called if they want to use a challenge.

There are some stats we can pick for either argument for or against Tebow. On one hand 25% completion % stinks. On the other hand I'll take a TD every 8 attempts any day. For a career he has a TD every 15 attempts. That doesn't include his rushing TDs. His INT rate is 1 every 46 attempts.

Compare to Kyle Orton who in his 3 years as a Bronco TD/attempt rate is right at 15 as well, but has an INT every 25 attempts!!!!

I don't really know what to think either about his <100 yrd passing games, but I do know that Kyle Orton's 300+ passing games didn't guarantee victories anyway.

Shut up quiggle.

Go back to the NBA thread.

Old T Rex :lol It's something new with him every week. Whether telling fans to STFU or saying his QB pulled "the stupidest call in the history of football" ....... No wait, they were both last night. Rex is so entertaining, as long as he's not coaching your favorite team.
