Just enjoy the Tebow show. It's a once in a lifetime event that won't exist next season. Right now, he's surprising teams. You can watch all the game film you want, but until you're on the field defending against it it's a whole other thing. Teams probably later this season will be shutting him down, and definitely next year, but for now he's reaping the benefits of defenses laughing him off (exactly like that Miami wildcat offense in '08).

Personally, I'm enjoying watching him play. It's kinda cool to see something completely different in an NFL game like this. Sure, if it's your favorite team getting "Tebowed" I'm sure it's not cool, but you have to respect this kids heart and will to win.

After this season, to have a good, long career in the NFL he's going to have to work with a good QB coach and work on his mechanics and pocket presence and awareness. If he can develop those skills on top of his natural athletic ability and heart, then I'm jumping on the bandwagon myself. I just loved this kid in college and think the league could use some more positive role models like him in it.

Ya know, hate him because he was a successful Gator, hate him because you don't like the Broncos, but you have to admit he's just a decent human being and like Mike Pouncey said, he's the type of guy you'd want your daughter dating. And he's just flat out exciting to watch right now.

Hahahaha! You can't even compare the two. :lol

The Eagles ____ing suck this year. However, whats weird is that their offense is one of the top rated offenses in the NFL so far this year. They just can't seal the deal. They have blown 5 fourth quarter leads so far this season. They could easily be 8 and 1. They are poorly coached.

I'm pretty sure the majority of NFL fans (outside of the pure haters) would take Vick over Tebow.

If the Eagles would have acquired a tested and true defensive coordinator instead of, pretty much, a high school coach, then I think they would be regarded as one of the top 5 teams in the NFL at this point. They start off hot and then don't make the necessary adjustments as the opponents offense make theirs.

Their biggest mistake in my opinion has been this wide nine crap. Their second biggest mistake has been the way they are using Nnamdi. He is a cover corner. Let him cover!

Their final mistake is that they didn't go out and get a linebacker that can play. You can't play in the wide nine with ____ty linebackers.

Well they made one more mistake. They should have paid Jackson at the beginning of the season. That said it shouldn't take money to motivate him. So as far as I'm concerned they can get rid of him next year.

Jackson is talented, but I've always thought he has a lousy attitude. He's just a whiny little punk bee-otch!

And yeah, you bring in the best cover corner in the league and don't let him do what he's best at, and now every one is saying he's a bust. No, the team is bafoons. And that wide nine? Not when you don't have the talent necessary to make it work.

Next season, buddy. But hopefully they can ruin the cowgirls hopes, though. :D

I wish Cowher would come out of retirement and take this team over. That would be awesome!

If he did come out of retirement and go back into coaching, that is probably one of the few teams I wouldn't mind seeing him go to. He just belongs on the sidelines. He looks so out of place in a suit in tie sitting behind a desk.

I dunno. I actually think he gets a bad rap and enjoy watching him play. . .but, I'm not sure how happy I would be if my daughter brought home some guy who exuded cheese like Tebow does. :lol Plus, he's so jacked up on steroids. I would worry about her being in the wrong place during a 'roid rage episode. :panic:

I wish Jim Mora, Sr. would come out of retirement and take this team over. That would be awesome!

:lol My point being, when do you ever see a bad report coming out about Tebow. The guy wins a championship game and then flies to a crap hole of a country to help out orphaned children. I'd rather my daughter date someone like that over someone that say, shoots themselves in the leg in a nightclub after complaining about a fine for being late to a team meeting, because he said he was dropping his kid off at school.

And I would like to see Mora Sr. take over a crappy team so I could watch a press conference to hear the question "so do you think you guys will make the play offs?" :lol

Then the final drive they let the full option loose and there you go.

Actually, they barely ran the option in the final drive. Most of it was spread/power QB run.

Alright this Sunday I'm rooting for the Vikings to beat the raiders. Let's go Vikings help Broncos get to first place :rock

BOOOO.

Well sure. If I've got to choose between a 'roided up evangelical Christian ham and an inept, gun-toting troublemaker, I'll probably go with the former. But I can only hope that she will choose the "C) None of the above" option :lol

It's fun for Denver right now. Sure he is winning games but people will figure it out (ask Vick and Young) then what? Blow up the team and get parts that work with him? What happens when that stops working? Now start all over a 2nd time?

All they are doing is delaying the inevitable.

lots of ____ty qbs that lose more than they win. there are a lot of qbs that people think are legit that lose all the time.

If Tebow starts throwing INTs then I will be asking for a change. But if he isn't turning it over I can live with 100 yrds passing a a lot of incompletes.
:lecture
Orton was throwing interceptions at the worst possible times, so far this year Tebow just one. and the whole team seems to play better with Tebow as the QB.

this is the big thing. hopefully Elway believes that Tebow can be the long term answer at QB as long as we get the coaching to teach him all that stuff, and Tebow said it himself that he will do whatever the coaching staff ask him to do to put the team in the best possible position to win

I think Tebow would be great in a 2-QB system. Alternate him with a more traditional pocket passing QB for different situations, and that could be a frightening team. He's more than the Wildcat gimmick. He's a genuine winner. At Florida, it was the same style of offense, and after 4 years opponents still couldn't stop him. Of course, the pros are the pros, but I think Vick, Young, and Tebow could really thrive in the right system. They aren't gonna succeed in the way that, say, a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning can on their own, but if they build up solid defenses and running games then they could be real contenders.

I just don't think Vick has the qualities that make a good quarterback. He is a talented athlete for sure, but he doesnt have that leadership quality. Just watch his Press conferences. Vick can't inspire a team nor lead a team. Has Vick ever won a national championship? He choked in the title game when he was with Falcons. College? Nope not that either. I think you would have a pretty decent quarterback if you would take the positives from Vick and Tebow, but you can't. Sure, eventually teams will figure out Tebow, but perhaps Denver will figure something before then. Right now, I am just enjoying the little engine that could.

So I guess using your thought process that Marino for example was a ____tly QB because he never won anything? :dunno

I think Vick proved last year he can be an elite QB in the NFL. Tebow has not. End of discussion. :rock

Yes but look at the other College QBs that couldn't be stopped and fail in NFL. At Florida he was biggest guy on the field (outside lineman) and even he got stopped then. Now in the NFL the linebackers are as big and as fast if not faster. Hell just look at him get lit up by Bart Scott on the fake, he was NEVER hit like that in college but there a lots of guys who can do that to him in the NFL.

The problem is to build a team for him what happens when he goes down his backup isn't going to run that offense. Then when he is done you have hope to find another like him or you have to blow up the team and now need years to rebuild a conventional NFL team.

Well look at Vick changed and he had his best year.

Can be? He had a decent QB rating at 100 but really nothing more. Marino never had a team. The Eagles have spent 107 million on players this year, and see where that got them? If Marino had the team the Eagles had, they would be fighting the Packers for the best team in the NFL. But unfortunately they are stuck with Vick. If I ask you what quarterback completed 44 percent and 54 percent of his passes you would think I was talking about Tebow right? What about averaging 98 yards a game his first year? Yup, those are all Vicks numbers.

I don't think Tebow is the answer by himself, because there are times when any QB in the NFL is gonna have to throw, and Tebow just can't do that very well (Vick can). But having a good O-line oriented to running the ball isn't something that would only benefit Tebow. So I don't know if it is a case of having to build a team up around Tebow to fit his style of offense.

And he's proven in the last few games that he can move against NFL defenses. I think his size, instincts, and willpower are what make him a more special player than others who have tried to do the Wildcat previously. Of course, the NFL is not the same as college football, but his style consistently worked against teams prepared for it because he was so good at it. It takes more than just size to succeed in that role.

Actually, they barely ran the option in the final drive. Most of it was spread/power QB run.

It wasn't the "read" option they were doing where Tebow pretends to hand the ball off, but it was the option on several of the plays were they had either a trailing running back that could take a pitch or a lead blocking back that he could shovel to.
