Really did you watch the whole game or just last drive? They had 134 yards on 11 drives. The Jets changed what they did on last drive after Tebow magically completed a couple passes instead of sticking to what has worked the whole game. The Jets blew it, it has nothing to do with smart play calling by Broncos.
When you are down, and have a few minutes to go down the field, a defense will respond in a certain way understanding the needs of an offense, and a smart offense will account for that. To give an example, from what I've seen, the Chargers this year suck at end of game drives, because their coaching and QB play is inept at that point. Last night, the Broncos figured out the appropriate strategy against the defense they anticipated what was coming from the Jets. It is overly simplistic to assign blame purely to the Jets. The rest of the game is a separate issue, but the same issue applies in that teams behave strategically in relation to others. If the Broncos defense was playing badly then the Tebow run offense probably would not have worked no matter what they tried.

He's playing the possition better than I've ever seen. :exactly: ... Including Montana, Elway, Marino, Manning, Brady, Young, Favre etc.
He's playing insane, all-time great level football, but he's really only been doing it since the end of last year. I'm curious to see how long he can keep it up.

Brady in 07 was playing better I think but he is certainly on a different level than anyone else right now. But kara is right. He wasn't that good in the playoffs last year so I'm wondering if it's just a hot hand or if this is going to continue.

I'm not saying he's the best of all time, just that he's playing better right now then I've ever seen a QB play. He could end up being pretty damn great though. Super fast release, amazing arm strength, second to none accuracy wise, very good scrambler, etc.

And he played great football in the playoffs last year. Remember, a QB has to get to the point where he fully comprehends all of the minutiae of the system he plays in, not to mention getting to a level where he can then read and react based on that offense. I think Rodgers has gotten to that magical level of competence at a very, very early age. It's a pleasure to watch him right now.

Rodgers has been playing pretty damn good for a while now (really since he became the starter). He's just taken it to another level since the playoffs last year and right now him and Brees are my top 2 QB in the NFL.
