Wow, what a ____ty game, by 2 ____ty teams, and as ____ty as the Steelers played they were never out of it until that phantom "leaping" penalty called against Timmons. I don't buy into the whole "the officiating is against us" BS (though I like to _____ about it to stir the pot), but when you see blatant calls like that you definitely add fuel to peoples' fire. The Steelers' D was getting fooled by basic, fundamental plays they just over-pursued. I saw nothing surprising from the Niners' offense, just an occasional bit of trickery to keep them honest, but terrible red zone efficiency by them. Ben needed to stay away from the long balls, it was obvious he couldn't plant well to throw it accurate enough (hence, 2 1st quarter INTs). The only part of any team that looked good in that game was the Niner's D. My hat off to them. Pittsburgh, way to squander the gift you were given yesterday.

Time to tighten up boys, you're hitting the road. Record isn't important now, you blew your shot at the #1 seed. Just rest Ben the next 2 weeks and get ready to play, probably, the Texans or whatever AFC West team pulls their head out of their asses and wins that damn division. I know Ben is undefeated in road play off games, but this team this year has been less than impressive on the road.

Well, time to go wash my mouth out with soap and say a couple of Hail Marys after cursing like a drunken sailor. Thankfully the wife and kids are sleeping, or I'd probably have my little parakeet of a 22 month old walking around saying "stupid mother-____ers!!!" all day tomorrow. But at least Brees is playing well. My new motto is "Anyone but the Ravens" if Pittsburgh can't get it together.

I am shocked the Steelers are risking the season by leaving Ben in, down 3 scores.

What a bone head decision. The guy could barely walk out of the tunnel. He's tough. We got that. However he hurt the team tonight. The coaches that let him play hurt them worse. Big mistake.

Yeah I would say first pick had a lot to do with the inability to step into throw.

It's San Francisco, how many Priuses would be needed?

I thought Ben was joking around with a chubby ballboy, then realized it's Byron Leftwich. Listed at 250 on the Steelers' site. Right....:lol

:lol:lol:lol

Someone put on my wife's FB page that everyone from San Francisco got home and plugged their electric cars in, and that's what blew the transformer.

Another one put "Wow San Fran, icing your whole opponent like that? That's a new level of desperation."

Ole Crying Def-_____ :lol Yep, looks like he ate the damn ball boy. I can't figure out why they keep him on their roster. He doesn't do a thing but take up space. All I can figure is they chunked him up to warm the benches for the players on cold nights. He could easily warm 3 seats at once. That's it, he's a professional bench warmer.

So, on the fumble, Ben was picked up and driven into the ground. Am I misunderstanding the rule or is that not the definition of roughing the passer?

They have 3 picks and a fumble but they are a ____ty team?
Do you read an entire post before commenting, or do you just see what you want and then go off being a ****** bag?

Pointless game. Lost Woodley, again. And maybe Moore. Shuda played the scrubs and made a complete s show of it. A big ol middle finger to Goddell for suspending our best player for basically touching a white man.

The usual answer is "it's Ben. He doesn't get those calls", but I feel like that was a legit hit. He should have just kept moving his arm forward and it would have been an incomplete pass.

I was with ya at first, but that last comment was a bit classless.

Everyone knows he earned that suspension, but some just won't admit it.

Yeah but still how you going to call them ____ty then praise them?:slap

Because, there are 2 parts to the team. Their offense looked rather ____ty, with what should have been 4 red zone possessions with 3 FGs and 1 TD, if not for the phantom leaping call. That is ____ty play. But the other part of their team, their defense, played great. They would be the ones with the 3 turn overs you're going on-and-on about.

You do understand this, right?

Then don't say two ____ty teams, say two ____ty offensive teams. :slap

Oh and they explained you "phantom" leaping call. You cant make a running start leap and land on a player. But there was a no call on the more obvious one but you seem ok with that:lol

See, you're one of those morons that thinks just because the League says it, then it's true as long as it's against a team you hate. Timmons stood there with his hand on a player's back and then when he saw the kick he jumped up towards it. He did nothing to propel himself.

And if a teams' offense is playing ____ty, then that's part of the team.

Alright, it's past your bedtime. You have to be up bright and early for school, little fella.

Or your one who can't understand rules when they go against your team. It had nothing to do with the hand or propelling off someone. It was he started off the line of scrimmage ran up jumped and landed on opposing player. It's pretty simple to see he did all 3 things.

Go back to complaining about shoes and eye black.

Ben hurt the team tonight and for the playoffs as well. All he did tonight was extend his healing time for an injury that he won't be 100% from for some time. He couldn't step into any of his throws and he couldn't do what he does best and extend plays by moving the pocket. Charlie Batch might not be great, but he would have been the better option tonight.
