Of some of the names I have heard tossed out he's in the middle of the pack. I didn't follow him that close at Minn so I don't know a lot about him. But I'd rather have him than some of the coordinators they have interviewed though. I want somebody with HC experience and someone who can kick those guys in the ass when they need it.

Rumor has it Rob Chudzinski also interviewed with TB and JAX. I'm gonna be so pissed if Carolina looses him, especially everything he's done with Cam this season.

2. Steelers lost to the "Backdoor Broncos" led by Tebow.

I don't think it was embarrassing at all. Broncos just played well on both sides of the ball. And with an injured Roethlisberger, the Steelers offense just wasn't quite what it needed to be to get the job done. I was still positive that the Steelers were gonna pull off the win up until the very end.

Now the Falcons performance today--that was embarrassing. They looked pitiful.

Its no worse than the Saints / Seahawks last year.

I disagree. The expectations before the game started was a complete walkover. The vaunted Steelers were playing an 8-8 team that backdoored their way into the playoffs led by a QB who looked absolutely incompetent the previous 3 games.

Of course I'll give Tebow credit for playing well. Go and ask Steelers nation if they're in a state of shock. This was supposed to be the gimme game of the weekend.

One of the great shockers in the playoffs maybe (though there have been plenty of upsets in the playoffs over the years), but nothing embarrassing when both teams show up. ____ expectations and "shouldas" when playoffs come around. All that matters is what teams do when the game starts.

Now that I'm off daddy duty for the time being I have the proper time to reply to one of the all time douchey types of sports related posts. It is this type of reply I'm referring to.

I made a comment about the Steelers being embarrassed. A fact and true statement.

Then there comes bumblebee and his dream team remark. Me being an Eagles fan I guess this means I have no right to participate in this thread according to bumblebee.

The fact of the matter is the Eagles sucked this year and underachieved big time. However I don't play for them! They should be embarrassed and have no room to talk. Not me! So come up with something else to say. Call me an _______. I don't care. But I can make any comment I want about any team I want and be guilt free.

If no one was allowed to contribute to this thread because their team lost this would be a boring thread. I will still play along as do many others.

The worst type of sport fan IMO is people who make comments like this and also wish players they don't like actually get injured. One a boyish transformer fan likes to do in this and the NHL thread.

So at least I contribute to this thread in a positive manner.

Very excited about the playoffs. I get to see the Steelers game at Harold's for the first time this year. I can't wait.


I do have to admit to having just a very slight hint of a concern about the Steelers getting victimized by a Mile High Miracle.

I am looking forward to feeling silly about that after the game, though.
