that's salty :rotfl

I don't think any human could replicate the look of stunned disbelief which was etched on my face that day. :thud:

You have to understand the Vikings were the "Chosen ones" that year. There were friends of mine that already booked hotels in Miami for the Super Bowl before that game. It was a foregone conclusion that we would win....a complete walkover.

I was told there were grown men crying leaving the metrodome that day.

Can you imagine an adult male going to his bedroom, laying on his bed and staring at the ceiling for an hour with the lights on? That was me. :(

Why the hell did I even post this? Now I'm depressed again. Fk me!

I don't hate the Falcons. But, to be honest, "The Dirty Bird" is such a frakkin' ridiculous dance that opposing fans and teams can hardly be blamed for using it to "trash talk" against them.

Now, when opposing teams or fans use it, it kind of has a double insult. It says both: "You lost" and "Your team is responsible for the most ridiculous celebration dance in the history of the NFL".

Raiders fire Hue Jackson :dunno

Was expected once they hired a GM.

Bad move Oakland, I would've just let the season go, after Campbell got injured, with Mcfadden out most of the season, they should've realized they weren't going to finish strong, they could've got some good draft picks, but they panicked. But then again they probably didn't see Tebow guiding Denver to the playoffs. :dunno

When you're 5-2 you don't just let the season go. Campbell went out in Week 7. McFadden's injury started in Week 8. What was initially thought to be a 2-3 week injury ended up being a season ending injury. Had everyone known it was a season ending injury, maybe the Palmer trade wouldn't have happened. But after Boller's performance in Week 8, the Raiders needed to make a move or else they would have ended up 5-11.

Regardless...they overpaid for Palmer. Everyone here knows Brown would have settled for one draft pick.:slap

"Source: Raiders fire Hue Jackson"

If you're ever bummed about your own NFL team, then you can always look at the Raiders dysfunction with or without Al. :lol

Historically throughout the league, when a new GM comes in he almost always fires the incumbent Head Coach. That being said, the previous 6-7 coaches since Gruden makes even me go :gah: lol.

Weird... they finish 8-8 all while locing their star RB and starting QB and then fire their coach after one year?

I guess Mark has a little Al in him....

Mark had nothing to do with it. It was all McKenzie's doing. The buzz I'm hearing is that McKenzie will bring in one of the Packers' coaches to be the new Head Coach....most likely Winston Moss which I'm okay with since he's a former Raider.
