Did the man that verbally insulted my Facebook page and then quickly "deleted" me as a contact just quote and comment on my post? I think so. Apology will be accepted anytime you are ready. If not well go ____ yourself. As you so eloquently put it.

Historically in the NFL there's been no loyalty to the player in Peyton's position....Unitas to Chargers, Namath to the Rams, Montana to KC....and on and on.

There's only loyalty to one thing:

And unfortunately, I 100% agree with that.

I find it hard to believe mfoga would do anything like that :rotfl

I agree he has talent but if your a cancer in the locker room or pout on the sideline takes away from that. He get his act together and he can be a nice addition to any roster.

I will say this. His teamates don't seem to mind him much. He is not terminal cancer like Mr. TO. More of a flu. :rotfl

He's on that path though. The same nice things were said of TO at one point. If Jackson does leave you've got another good one in maclin.

Maclin is decent. The problem is he's always hurt. I'm hoping they pick up Jackson or Colston as a viable replacement.

I admit I'm probably a bit bias but I'd much rather have Maclin than Jackson if I had to choose between the two. I'm like you though I'd like the see my niners pick up a true #1 wr this off-season. Would make life on smith, gore, and Davis much easier.

You've gotta wonder how much is just the player and how much is the coach and situation, though. I recall that Vernon Davis wasn't always the kind of player he is now. Some players need time and the proper mentor and situation to mature. Of course, your also gonna have TOs and Pacman Jones's who are lost causes.

I agree. He might be fine long term and Davis is a fine example of that. Only time will tell of course but I would think Reid would be easy to play for.

Yeah, that might be part of the problem. Reid doesn't seem like much of a disciplinarian. TO surely didn't change his behavior much during his tenure in Philly.

Are you kidding me? Reid sat his ass the whole game versus Cardinals. A game that they probably would have won with him in. A game that would have caused the Giants not to go to the playoffs and allowing the Eagles entry. Probably the act of a lax coach. :rotfl

I'm still giddy that the Pats lost. :clap:rotfl:rotfl:clap

I sometimes wonder if people get more joy seeing someone else lose rather than their own team winning.:rolleyes2

Pats in need of speed at the WR position...could they possibly make a move for Desean?

I don't see them going after Jackson at all based on his personality and the amount of money he'll want. After the Pats most likely tag Welker, I'd like to see them lock him up with a nice 3 year deal. After that I think they'll show some interest in Brandon Lloyd, probably re-sign Deion Branch becuase he's a Brady binky, and cut Chad Johnson. After the draft things will be much clearer.

Also, Randy Moss was spotted Tuesday in Foxboro shopping at the Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place. Of course people are already reading way too much into it.:lol
