The press conference was pretty sad. If anyone thinks this wasnt hard for either of them just watch that and you will know.

I'll throw out the prediction of Washington. Dan Snyder's wallet is just waiting.

I hope not. If he does, I'll have to root slightly for Washington because of him. I've lived in the DC area for almost all my life, and I've never been a Redskins fan.

I think Manning stays in the AFC, especially with Eli being in the NFC. I can't see him going to Washington and playing Eli twice a season. In a past interview he stated he was glad Eli went to an NFC team because they'd only have to play every 4 years.

Yeah, I'm don't think he'd want to play against Eli twice a year.

My bet is on Arizona.

That would seem like the best option. Dome, good weather, good receivers, probably best chance to make playoffs.

Yup, with a stud receiver in Fitzgerald.

Funny how the two big stories in the NFL right now (Gregg Williams and his bounty program and Peyton Manning's imminent release) have converge. Tony Dungy said that Peyton's neck problems started after he was hit in a game against the Skins...when Williams was the Redskins DC.

I really hope the Texans at least have talks with Manning. I know we probably wont have the cap room, but he would make us a instant Super Bowl contender and would get to play Indy twice a year. We have a good D and Andre being one of the best WR in the league would be temping for a guy like Peyton. He grew up in New Orleans so it would be close to home for him too.

I know it wont happen but its nice to dream.:monkey2

Don't feel too bad. With a healthy Matt Schaub the Texans should be contenders in the AFC next season anyway.

If they get rid of Matt its a pretty big cap hit off the books. Not a Manning size cap hit but a good sized one that might give enough room.

Yeah thats the big question though, He's never been able to stay healthy.

Damn salary caps :lol

If Matt can stay healthy this year I like our chances.
