Saints bounty bans overturned.

"Suspensions for four players connected to the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal have been overturned by a three-man arbitration panel, sources tell ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The ruling should clear Jonathan Vilma, Will Smith, Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove to start the season.
The panel's decision affects the players only, not suspended coaches Gregg Williams, Sean Payton and Joe Vitt."

Off until the league files an appeal which is a given.
If I was Greg Williams I'd sue the Saints orginization, the NFL and the players involved in the program.
So wait a minute. Goodell still has to make a ruling? This ought to last long. I don't really see how the players can claim any victory here. The panel said Goodell was within his bounds with the punishment but not within jurisdiction to base it on putting money into a pool. So he essentially has to say the punishment is based on intent to injure and the bans are reinstated.
