Really happy for Ryan Gosling, I mean Alex Smith. Hope his success under Harbaugh continues.

After being thought of as a bust, he's been playing great so far. A 76.9(!) completion percentage against the Pack and then 64.5 last night. Model of efficiency. It's a wonder what continuity at the OC position will do.

I got torn up in my fantasy league, yeterday.

I got torn up in both of my pick 'em pools, yesterday.

But the Steelers won, so it turned out to be a great day after all.

:)

hopefully the Broncos defense can actually stop Falcons on third downs. they gave up too many third and longs last week to the steelers (although some of that can be because rothlisberger was able to escape pass rush)

Lets go Broncos

That pic reminds me of the Denver fan who got the tattoo of the Tebow centaur thing.

Someone needs to interview him and ask him now he feels about his tattoo now.

that really is the worst idea for a tattoo, especially of a player that everyone knew management never wanted. i like tebow and wished they wouldnt have traded him just in case manning does get injured the broncos would still have a qb that could somehow win games. oh well i still support the broncos no matter what :rock :rock

49ers look really strong so far.

I don't care what anyone says about Alex Smith, the guy is good and the way he is being coached to play has changed him and his confidence. He now holds the 49ers record for most passes attempted without an interception. That's quite a feat if you ask me. And that first TD pass to Vernon, the guys getting good, really good.

49ers, barring a plague of injuries, will most likely be a force come January. They got the type of team that stays steady throughout the season, can match up with anybody, and let their strengths dominate opponents come playoff time. And they are fun to watch. Everybody on that defense can tackle very well and they all meet at the ball like a swarm of angry hornets. I don't think they've really gone too deep in the offensive playbook either. Don't really need to with all those talented RB's and Vernon Davis is unstoppable. When they have opened it up, they have looked impressive (first half against GB). Scary.

Houston looks very solid as well. They'll be there come January (especially with no real challenge in the division). Baltimore, when hot, is the x factor in that conference I think though. If they get momentum going they can outplay anybody.
