It's ironic, though, isn't it...a league that's supposed to have this tough guy image where the men of all men play, but when push comes to shove most of the players are just whiney cry babies who's feelings get hurt when someone calls them out on the field (and yes, this goes for Cutler at times, too).

As a friend of mine put it.."the pussification of America". :lol

Yup, most of these guys are backslapped by slurpers telling them how good they are from high school. Seriously, some of these guys can't function in society or don't know how to communicate with others or even balance their checkbooks. So if things go wrong on or off the field, they act like wussies. Some of these players file for bankruptcy after 3-years out of the league.

I'm not saying this as a blanket statement across the board for all players either. Some do have their heads on straight.

EDIT: Here's a Bears teammate calling out Cutler on Espn.com.......

And of course ESPN eats this crap up. They're like a spanish soap opera without the hot chicks. :lol

I played with three guys in college I thought for sure would make it in the pros on talent alone. Unfortunately, they weren't too smart, skipping classes and taking underwater basket-weaving off campus. One of them was arrested years ago on dog fighting charges (not Vick). Just soooo sad.

To call out a teammate for missing a blocking assignment or running a route incorrectly is one thing, but it's the way you go about it.

We all know that the QB is obviously the most visable player on the team, but I want to see an O-lineman b*tch out a QB after they throw a bone headed interception.

Yup, just another tv outlet that needs to fill time 24/7/365.

Espn jumped the shark when they sent Rachel Nichols to camp out on Brett Favre's lawn to see if he would come out of retirement years back.

I haven't watched Sports Center in 10 years due to too much fluff and no substance.

Next week....

After game....

This was pretty amazing from espn.com......

"The NFL pulled one of the replacement officials assigned to the New Orleans-Carolina game Sunday morning after it was made aware that he was a Saints fan."

"Brian Stropolo, who is from New Orleans area and lists himself on Facebook as an NFL side judge, posted pictures of himself in Saints gear tailgating at an Aug. 25 preseason game."

"The NFL was unaware of Stropolo's open allegiance as a Saints fan until ESPN contacted the league Sunday morning."

:slap :slap

Nice background check NFL.

Ok let's be serious here every single ref is a fan of a team or was a fan of team. There are refs who have it out for certain teams or players.

I know it's popular to pile on over anything about the refs but this was caught and handled get over it.

Also welcome to 32 hours ago.

I think it is pretty stupid to have the rule that you can't be a fan of a football team and be an official.

I agree, but he openly posted on FB about being a fan and refing their game. As much as nearly everyone is looking for a reason to complain about these refs the NFL had to do something.

While I'm sure there are some biases in every official. Couldn't you see the problem with having an outright fan of a certain team calling a game in which millions of dollars are on the line?

Lol...I didn't blame the ref. I blamed the NFL for this blunder. Read the post more clearly next time.

32 hours isn't exactly 2 weeks ago. Don't go back to your old bleephole ways Marc.
